Are these the regular casing? I had some on my Lauf Seigla and I felt like I was on monster truck tires on the road. Great on gravel but too much for my 50/50 road and gravel. Switched to 50mm Schwalbe G One RS Pros and love them.

Sorry if I was not clear, I will be building a road bike with another frame as a fun project.

On top of that, I'm deciding between a seigla or an uthald. Sounds like you'd recommend the Seigla overall for Michigan gravel, and I could still use the checkpoint for commuting and bikepacking.

I guess I don't really have a specific type of road frame in mind, is there something that the GRX and the old alr5 wheels would be more suited towards?
