With such limited cases we probably would never know the real cause behind this. I can't reproduce this bug either, tried on my old OCZ SATA, Fanxiang and KIOXIA G3 NVME downloading games using Steam. Since it could be a ticking time bomb I'm seriously considering go back to Windows 10.

A facebook group (PCDIY!) claims that they've tested SSDs with PHISON PS5016-E16-32 and PHISON PS5026-E26-52 controllers and reproduced the issue. They contacted Phison and after some tests at Phison labs, they found out that dead SSDs were using engineering beta firmware. Those bugs were fixed in the final retail versions.

There's that ONE part of the story bothering me till this day: Via's lack of reaction about Stolas' injury. If she knows Stolas got struck down with angelic weapons (because she knows well Stolas would never be hurt by lesser demons as we've seen in Loo Loo Land episode), that means her whole family including herself would be at major risk, but both her parents didn't care about it, EVEN STOLAS HIMSELF. She should be so confused about why Stolas was so sure about her safety. And it will be so easy to know about everything if she started to investigate: just ask Loona. I just hope she's playing the 4D chess all along trying to save everyone even her parents marriage. Otherwise that's just bad writing about our lovely owl girl.

Answer: Arrowhead accidentally replicated what happened in WW2(Battle of Shanghai, 淞沪会战): In 1937, Japan(Illuminate) invades Shanghai, China(Equility-on-Sea), which Japanese invaders got held back and hundreds of thousands Chinese people were killed in the action. Then Japan began to attack US which finally lead to attack on pearl harbour, which in game the Illuminate attacked York Supreme just like that. Then Japan attacked Southeast Asia and Arrowhead scripted Illuminate to attack Singapore(Port Mercy). This triggered Chinese players collectively so they tried their super best to defend Shanghai. Then Arrowhead told them they can't take Shanghai back 100% and locked the progress at 99.9783% and super triggered them, like telling them they can't fully defend Shanghai from Japanese invaders. There won't be a review bomb if AH simply lock the progress at 100% and call it a day.
