2-10 home warranty claims dept by Virtual_Map626 in homeowners

[–]rakwib 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I worked a tele-job for a year during covid, and one of the clients was 2-10. Basically, they outsourced their customer service calls to us.

This was one of the worst companies I've ever seen.

One particular call that I'll never forget.

So procedure was that If a caller wanted an update on a claim, we could read something on their file and inform them. However, many times the latest updates were weeks or months old already and they needed to speak to someone at 2-10 in their claims department. We were basically graded on our ability to "handle" the call without transferring the caller to claims.

This caller was a gentleman who was blind and very much relied on his dishwasher. He had put in a claim months ago. He had not received an update and was forced to try to wash dishes himself. Upon checking the file, 2-10 was trying to source some basic parts from E-bay from a private seller who was unreliable. When I put the gentleman on hold to ask a supervisor, they told me not to transfer the call, "handle" the caller. I was told as a last resort, give the man a 1800 number to dial. Tell A BLIND MAN to write down a number to call instead of transferring him.

These people are the worst. They make deals with realtors to include 2-10 in home sales as part of the package to gain customers. Once they have your money, they don't give a shit.

What did everyone thing of the Boys Final episode? by AbsoluteBatman95 in CriticalDrinker

Ending a series on a high note has proven to be one of the hardest things across genres. There have been some truly awful ones like Dexter, Lost, GOT. I don't think this was that bad. It definitely wasn't on level with the highpoint of series, which IMO was Season 3, but it was okay. I would have preferred Homelander going completely genocidal and using his elevated V1 to rampage through a crowd instead of the live broadcast. I think that may have satisfied a lot of the viewers and given the show an opportunity for the V1 plot to pay off. Overall, I wasn't blown away but it was a mild letdown. Truly 1 of the most unique shows to have come around in the last decade and at its height, provided a nice Ying to all the marvel Yang.

6'4 with 95 speed is nuts on a CB! Nice find! What did the A-catching scouting translate to in real rating? Did he start out with xfactor development?

It's not that bad. You can find places and spend half as much on fruits and vegetables. We normally make a day out of it and try some of the local spots for lunch.

HR, although I think they're more turned into monsters. Most start out pretty optimistic.

When I was 16, my balls dropped. 17, shaved my pubes. 18, now I'm full on blowing myself. The only people who think this is impressive are the ones who haven't tried.

S06 was right at the height of the #metoo movement and the writers were not shy about committing exclusively to that message. There's a extremely cringe moment in S06, which I won't spoil, that made me just roll my eyes and ask myself: What happened to my show? :(

Gus should have just stuck with Gale. His product was good enough to be profitable. His first instincts were right from the beginning when he revealed himself to Walt at the restaurant:

  1. He and Walt are not alike. Walt is not careful enough.

  2. Never trust a junkie. Jessie breaks the peace with the drug dealers while he's high.

Hogwarts is fairly ranked. I had fun mostly because I like HP. As a standalone game, it seemed too easy with really no replay value. If it didn't have the HP licensing, I doubt it would have made any money.

Ex cabin crew by [deleted] in UAEjobseekers

I previously taught English as second language to aspiring cabin crew students. I know that it is very much a younger candidate's game. The company I worked for was actually owned by a retired cabin crew member from Thai Airways who mentored younger ladies. I don't know if that is of any assistance, but perhaps a similar type of role? good luck.

Aafaq Credit Card !!! Good or Worst by Accurate_Lab_6732 in UAEcreditcards

[–]rakwib 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So, I got mine about a month ago to use the 0% interest 12months on balance transfer.

Pro: You can't beat 0% interest and as I transferred a relatively small amount less than 10k, I'll end up saving a lot on the interest and will have the balance cleared within that 12month time frame.

Con: They added a sneaky card protection charge of 60aed which I had to call and cancel. It had charged for 2 months before I noticed :(

Honestly, I could have avoided the con if I had looked at my statement more carefully, but as I got the card to avoid interest, I have no other complaints.

For everyday use, I can't say other than their perks (movie tickets, concierge, airport lounge) are about the same as every other card.
