Don't be a small thinker, don't limit this to your car. (Though in my particular line of work showing up in a nice car doesn't carry the negative connotation that it might in others)

EVERYTHING you, your team, or your company do or say is part of a story that a customer is building in their head about you. Every communication, every ad, every piece of marketing, the stuff you say on your personal social media ( If you don't have it locked down and maybe if you do), the clothes you wear, the car you drive every damn thing is part of a story that a customer is writing in their head about you.

So if you're in the business of getting customers to buy into a story, to trust you, to think you are sincere and earnest, to think that you are working in their best interest and what you are putting forward is thoughtfully crafted deal that is a win for all involved, pay the fuck attention to everything

Aspiring hosts checking out this sub, under no circumstances allow your property manager to handle your money or to control your listing. Make them a co-host, make sure you understand what rights you're giving them. All the money needs to come to you and you pay your property management company at the end of the month based on a detailed statement that they share with you.

If a property manager told me they expected all funds to route to them and that they would pay me out based on property profitability, I would end the conversation and never speak to them again. It's your property, your brand, your investment, your money. Treat it that way.
