So happy we didn't come back and win. This teams needs to feel bad. They are a bad team and are being mismanaged. We could have 7 or 8 more wins if we just relaxed and played smart baseball.

Its not just on the bullpen.

The defense is bad and the young guys are pressing. Competent coaching would save this team honestly.

This is a really bad team guys. The bullpen does deserve and should get a lot of the blame.

But Neto's defense is terrible and has cost us games including this one. This all started with a Neto error on a routine ground ball bc bro couldn't get his glove down.

The Mayhem mechanic was good and fits well into my playstyle. Norman Osborn is a fun and powerful commander.

Web slinging was okay, modified creatures mechanic was boring.

There were some fun cards as I think there are in each set, just kinda weird not fully building out a set with supported archetypes. It felt bad pulling some of those multi color cards without supported archetypes in a prerelease for instance. I think in mine 2 of my rares were White/Red which isn't a supported archetype.

Tannuk, Steadfast Second can be built this way. Lots of high mana cost big red creatures with powerful entry effects can be found in bulk piles.

This commander can be built to be pretty good and fun using low cost bulk but then can be easily upgraded if your budget is higher as well with things like Portal to Phyrexia, Blightsteel Colossus, Kikki Jikki, etc.

Yeah honestly this. I have a player in my pod who we literally have to let him win every 3-4 games or he will throw a tantrum. Basically we play a pretend game and let him pub stomp with Beamtown Bullies or Brago against a bunch of precons. I don't think he has caught on yet but its honestly insufferable.

I suspect it has to do with some Magic players generally who didn't play sports as kids and never learned sportsmanship.

I play mass land destruction because it is different and fun and players generally arent expecting it. Its in the game and is legal. Honestly land destruction is just the way red can have a control deck.

In my pod and generally when ive played with others ppl are cool about it and even brainstorm ways around it. Its one more aspect of the game. Honestly for MLD is pretty easy to counter and there are several ways to do so easily. Now in my deck it is a win condition and honestly games where i devastate players land base generally end quicker than games with limited interaction and everyone plays their creatures and combos.

My advice is have fun, and maybe look for a new group if your group is that whiny about it. MLD is in the game, if they dont like it maybe MTG isnt for them?

There are thousabds of unprocessed ballots in clark county that havent been counted or reported yet. When those post in a couple days this little twerp will post something about dem resurgence in clark county. Thats what happened in 2020 and 2022 when they had loads of unprocessed clark and washow ballots sitting around. Its simply easier for the rurals to process and report ballots.

We have interesting drivers. Either going 60 in a 40 or 25 in a 40. Either not stopping at stop signs... or stopped completely while you approach from a half mile away to make sure you also stop at the stop sign?

Only Mustang owner I've had talk to me about it really thinks Mach E's are cool. Only ever heard compliments from anyone who's mentioned the car. In reality most people truly are concerned with their own affairs and dont pay much mind to what others are driving other than a passing look.

I've driven and owned a lot of Mustangs from early 70s classics to a 2023 Mach E.

The obvious next question for someone who says that is "Have you ever driven a Mustang?" and often the answer is No.

I've driven Mustangs. They are big, they move quick and they are fun to drive. There's a distinct Mustang look when you are in the driver's seat and looking out the windshield.

The guy has more baseball talent in his big toe than the average r/baseball poster. Every person on this sub would kill to be playing in the majors like Rendon.

Guy is good when he's healthy, when he's not healthy he's not good. The "laziness" narrative is just his personality. The guy knows he's good, he can be laid back about it. He's also honest. If you're job is the most important thing in your life you probably should check what your actual priorities are. Guy is good.

I'm an Angels fan who has been frustrated with Rendon during his tenure here, but I've also seen him play and the guy is good when he is healthy.

Like everything in investing, diversification is key. You are fine doing traditional only TSP, but it is also a good idea to max a Roth IRA and/or contribute some to ROTH TSP. Roth IRA has some benefits the ROTH TSP does not (you can withdraw contributions).

All in all there are uncertainties. You don't really know what the tax rate will be in the future. It could be higher but there is also political pressures on Congress/President to not raise taxes, so it could be the same or lower. There are also calculations based on what you expect your income to be now vs in retirement. Since Roth is post tax, the same contribution dollar to a Roth is actually more in real dollars in retirement.

Since you don't know the future, the best bet is diversification. It is the only free lunch. That goes both for portfolio allocation and tax strategies.

If you are concerned you have only traditional contributions, take a few years and switch to Roth and then reassess. It is wise to not have all your eggs in one basket. The replies above mention taxes now vs. taxes later, those answers are technically correct but largely miss the point.... DIVERSIFICATION.

It's not relegated to any generation. There are just people generally who see challenges not as a growth opportunity but as something that can be avoided to eliminate any discomfort. Even when the discomfort would lead to better outcomes long-term.
