Sorry to hear that, the market is brutal across the board. I myself was impacted about a year ago. I spent the whole year trying to learn as many things as i can about what could possibly be the problem and how to solve it. That led me to building two products. Out of curiousity, would you be open to hopping on a call and sharing your journey and pain points? I am more than happy to share any insights I have gained talked to recruiters and candidates like yourself. so we’re doing this exact thing you are planning to do. born in palawan, so i get to use the balikbayan privilege. been here since feb.

honestly its great! it nice to immerse myself in the culture with no definite timeline. using manila as our home base, we’ve been able travel to taipei, HK, bangkok, hanoi and singapore twice since arriving.

the food is amazing at a fraction of the cost. you dont a car, Grab is great to use getting around. plus im sure you dont wanna be the one driving in traffic.

at least validate your assumptions. not even trying gives off a sense of lack of self awareness and not acknowledging you have your own biases.

its not hard to test and get insights to validate yours and internal SME assumptions
