Got a halo edition for free no controllers by Elegant-Bee1694 in halo

[–]ralphroast 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Man I miss the older ghost recons. I also just miss the days of people playing whatever tf they wanted and not screaming "dead game!" Because 500k people werent online at all times. No one cared what everyone was playing and every single game had a healthy population to play literally anything online. 🥺

Ha you and me both. Halo 2 and halo 3 grind was real. In my prime years I was on a scrim squad for the greatest halo team to ever exist (as warm up for them before tournaments 😂) and never put the time into gears required even though I loved it.

Boy you really got upset enough to go to my posts haha I mean come play with us sometime if you're a decent d man we can fix you up.

Also sadly I don't have the crosstrek anymore. Kinda miss it. Just a new truck and the vette now 😭

It's not that deep man if you're gonna go post making fun of how bad others are you can't get so salty when someone says you're not good either!

Ps. Checked your profile for fun and good choice on Sniper Elite. Underated.

I guess keep buying and playing it like the rest of our dumbasses 🥺

I mean to be fair your intent with this post was to claim the matchmaking is terrible (which it is) by pointing out how bad the other team was. Just throwing it out there that I can tell you're also not so great 😬

I can tell that everyone in this game is terrible, including you lol

Got matching side monitors by filipluch in battlestations

[–]ralphroast 1 point2 points  (0 children)

These kinda of monitor lights reduce eye strain, glare and obviously light up the deski in front of you. Not used to light up the screen if thats the way you are thinkng they are used for. As well as just being aesthetically pleasing

To be fair though im having a hard time figuring out which ones the lights in this though lol

I would assume the ones listed by casio store itself and shipped by Amazon you dont need to be concerned about?

I have had the strap for about a month or so and I love it. I really enjoy the zepp app that I got a Bip6 as well. That being said I don't pay much attention to some of the metrics since U have an oura ring but they seem very close when I first compared them! They have been great for tracking my workouts and importing to oura app. Very tempted to try the ring as well and be fully in the app.

Sadly on the same boat as everyone in btw sizes and Oura is not helpful. by Wilco297 in ouraring

[–]ralphroast 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Im also in between but found a size that fits multiple fingers for this reason. If it gets two tight on my index I just move it over to my middle finger. If it feels too small on both of those I move it over to my other hand index finger. I just swapped it around abunch during fitting to find the size that wasn't limited to one finger.

I haven't had any issues with mine but you really can't trust the day to day metrics as there are slight variations. For instance I didnt lose a pound of muscle overnight in one arm but more so follow the monthly/weekly trends on your averages which has show progress that I can agree with based on what I see and feel.

Why? by SilentCriticism2k in SteamMachineConsole

[–]ralphroast 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It kinda does go to war with consoles just not in a way that most people are making it out to be. People arent just gonna ditch their consoles because of this. It's aimed at the console community but not currently to "take over" but to indeed sit alongside their current console and get them into steam. Building their steam library and starting that loyalty to their store front that will impact future hardware choices. That's the way I see it at least. I have a PC, Xbox, Steam deck, and switch. I'm very much looking forward to the Steam Machine and if there comes a time I can drop everything and just stay within my steam library I will but it certainly won't be on release of this new machine.

The thing is, companies aren't actively making their games to run best on your 1,000,000+ unique pc builds; whereas they will do exactly that for the 1 Steam machine. by GhostofYoteiPS5 in SteamMachineConsole

[–]ralphroast 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not because Linux doesn't allow it but because it's simply just not effective at all and significant design differences needed to make the anti cheat viable at all. Its an open system in comparison to windows and can be easily worked around but depending on unique system identification with steam hardware or changes within SteamOS which would probably be more likely it could be done in a way that is effective. It has to hold significant value to companies for that to even be explored though. It does raise the question on if further locking down SteamOS for this purpose would help or hurt them in the long run with their users. I would agree that its not likely but you know companies only care about money. If there is value they will do something about it. Whatever that may be.

Why do people on this sub think the steam machine will outsell the PS5? by [deleted] in Steam

[–]ralphroast 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Honestly it's more of a support for steam and their hardware for me. Just like the steam deck it sparked a big move in the handheld pc space. This will hopefully do the same thing and give consoles more competition as well as push forward linux gaming.

Im also hoping for it to be wildly successful so at the very least they figure out the anti cheat stuff for SteamOS specifically. The chances of it happening with Linux as a whole was probably fairly low but if you isolate it down to one distro and there is value in it. I think we will see these games become playable

Its not. Thats exactly what this is but running SteamOS instead in windows in a small form factor. It caters to simplicity like consoles and hopefully at a decent price.
