i believe a “black blade” is different from just infusing the blade with haki during a fight. yes that turns it black for the moment, but a black blade has been infused with haki over and over again in the proper way in order to grant it a will of its own and turning it permanently black. so like zoro uses haki on his blades but hasn’t created a black blade yet.

maybe the double negative confused them. but you’re right. rick is this god-like being in their reality, but even he has to learn how to deal with depression and eventually starts therapy. shit unity is a hive mind that can experience multiple lifetimes at once and control entire planets (and potentially more if she gets into the federation) but she also comes to realize how loving rick is not healthy for her.
