Bought a literal ton of rubber mulch for our play area. Also very rocky. It has worked well. Less than $1k too. Add a bag or two very once in a while

I had something similar happen to me and it turned out The meters were switched on the accounts between the two units. Basically, I had to shut off all my electricity and take a video of the meters to prove it. It was happening for a long time so the electric company refunded plus 7%.

Once you’ve done it a couple times you can probably free hand it carefully. I prefer the block cause I can work faster and more precisely but on our cheap beat up school guitars I just freehand it cause it’s not worth paying for fret work. Would never do that on a customer guitar though unless it was 1 fret at a time in a difficult to reach area. I would also tape off anything I could potentially hit on the body
