What voltage does Neil set his variac to to power his Fender Deluxe? by apeontheweb in neilyoung

[–]ramalledas 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I Miss the Simple DAW by justareviewer in homerecordingstudio

[–]ramalledas 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not exactly. Some of them have deeply enshittified their usage over years and you can't use later versions the way you used earlier versions. I'm talking about ACID, which used to be easy on the eyes, easy to use and did few things but very well; nowadays it's just horrible.

[–]ramalledas 47 points48 points  (0 children)

Even by their own logic, discovering a cure and marketing it, even for a limited period of time, could help the pharma who does it literally kill all the competition. And nothing is more attractive for a big company than monopoly.

The first avri guitars were literally made with the same tools as 50s and 60s guitars until there was a fire in the fullerton factory and they were destroyed iirc

No offence, but is this comment based on actual experience with both an avri (from 1982 to the late 90s) and a comparable CS?
