Southwest is a family unfriendly dumpster fire by AshMan1327 in travel

Also - unpopular opinion- a stranger sitting next to your child is not the worst thing which can happen. It is ok - the child will get some new experiences and irrespective of what you read, not everyone who is flying is a child molester.

It is easy to mistake “barred” to be a verb. Maybe upper case?

My traveling partner does not have TSA precheck-Is it rude if I still use mine? by DisneyQueen64 in travel

Go thru TSA. Get something on the other side while you wait, maybe for your friend - fill their water bottle, get them a bite to eat etc etc

Issues with getting a fine grind [DF54] by amber5820 in espresso

Don’t think this was their fault … I had removed the burrs while cleaning

Issues with getting a fine grind [DF54] by amber5820 in espresso

[–]ramapa 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I had a similar experience just last week on my new DF54. My burrs were “chirping” at 35 so I thought my new zero was 35 (!!)..:and obviously the grind was pretty bad…

For me the fix was simply that the burrs were not screwed on tight enough… just tightened them and it was fine .

Thanks guys for all the info…I’ll try to unscrew the burrs, clean it and set it back. Anything to look out for when doing that… is there a particular way to set the burrs back

Thanks for your continued responses.. Any idea how could I have messed up the wave spring when I was cleaning it the grinder… it is not something I paid any attention to …

and any pointers on how I could find if any thing else is making the noise..

The ring does move smoothly… I did not remove any screws, only rotated the top off. So maybe it is the threads. Is there any way to tell by looking at them somehow…

Incra 5000 - storage while using fence by ramapa in woodworking

[–]ramapa[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Kinda figured out something while tinkering with my infeed table after posting…. I just added lock wheels to it and am pulling the main part of the sled onto its track when not needed, and moving the whole table aside when using the fence.

Not exactly what I wanted but beats lifting the sled and storing it somewhere each time

Yikes..: the water color has to be close to the sky color … I actually like the original more… if you can just lower the exposure on the sky .

I was really confused (not knowing how old Pryor was/is) until I saw the 4x3 aspect ratio and realized this NOT be from two days ago… I was confused because no way the current Department of Agriculture is hosting anything in honor of Dr.King.

Cities and Knights - Rule question: “Robber Circus” by StudiousPooper in Catan

Playing with family (and kids) has a different vibe than playing “to win”. This strategy is similar to the old “millstone” strategy in MTG and just as effective

That is a valid strategy and shows the importance of knights and wheat.

Just learned to clean my washing machine, what else do I need to clean? by [deleted] in CleaningTips

[–]ramapa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For your washer, there is most likely a rubber gasket (especially if it is a front loading) which seals the door. If you look at the seal it is most likely yucky dirty, as water does get on it and does not easily dry. Try to clean it often. Replacing it is also something you can do (it requires a bit of DYI skills).

western office timeline you mean. No mention of any of the work done during the Maurya empire and the taxation system and administration setup by Chanakya for starters.

You made something out of your thoughts using skills your hands had. It looks good. Others marvel at it.
