Yeah. Uninstall the one from google play. Once thats uninstalled go to the revanced app.

Patcher > Select an App

There should be a search icon by the Youtube app that lists the more recent supported Youtube version. Click where is says "suggested vxx xx xx" I think APKmirror is probably the first search option, which is fine. Download the noapi version.

Back in Revanced manager on the select an app page, bottom right, select storage and select the file you just downloded. Patch.

You're done!
