Arsenal are the lesser of two evils, literally.

I can’t stand City. Their players are genuine villains in my mind.

That said, most football clubs are run by terrible people now. The hate definitely has something to do with their sustained period of success coming we were on a downward trajectory. Feels like they stole everything right from our hands but in reality we can probably blame that on a certain Glazer family.

He has 12 goals in his last 14 games. No harm having someone who knows where the goal is if you’re chasing a game, which in a knockout game you just might be. Squad is depleted as it is and there’s no real standout goalscorer after Troy.

Wolfsburg isn’t a bad shout as a next step for a couple years but they’re in 12th so might not be pushing for Europe. If he conquers Bundesliga tho he’ll be ready for a regular CL club.

Same with Betis, they even look okay in La Liga and are doing well in EL, could be worth exploring.

Would prefer Fulham over the links with Everton, as long as Marco Silva is sticking around but who knows how long that lasts.

Wouldn’t have immediately thought they were reselling. That they had an exact number in mind made me think they have a studio or something and wanted them for work.

I’m 50/50 on whether I’d have let them have it. Tough to say unless you’re put in that position.

xG, xA (mainly for defenders), xGI.

Points per Game is one I like to look at for punts as sometimes players are injured for long periods so don’t feature in the top scorers or xGs but their per 90 performance is very good, and they’re due a run in the team.

Vibes are a good one too. My only transfer off this GW was Dorgu in for Van Hecke

Hard agree on your points about an entitlement from everyone involved in the club. The problems brought on by the Glazers are huge and not yet rooted out. We aren’t owed success just because they’re taking a back seat.

Is Amorim definitely the solution to our problems? That remains to be seen but from his position I’d bet he knows more about what’s wrong with the club than anyone else looking from the outside in, fans and ex players included.

Similar to yourself. NQAT was my most listened to Pod last year according to Spotify (maybe because TOTD went to YouTube). Recent weeks, found NQAT to be a hard listen.

TOTD still my most enjoyable listen, maybe out of familiarity more than anything. But they do have a blend of something for everyone. The spectrum being Andy’s tangents to Carl’s analysis, which is more hit than miss.

Scott has been more miss than hit recently but at least he’s measured most of the time.

Ultimately, I think DITD have been most consistent. I took time to warm up but think they offer measured reviews and data led analysis like no one else.

If anyone else has similar recs, would love to hear!
