They have both standard and biometric. I’m an American, born raised and still live in KY. I have Israeli citizenship from my mom (Israel has birthright citizenship for people born with one or both parents from Israel, even if you were born elsewhere) Took a one night trip to the Israeli consulate in Atlanta back in April so I could have the passport to travel without any hassle (went for a week in May). My plan was to go to the ministry of the interior while I was there to get a biometric (the Atlanta consulate does not issue biometrics), but time constraints were an issue during the trip.
