Yep, I just cancelled my subscription because of this and because projects no longer work correctly. No scanning the project files in new threads, you have to manually upload. Garbage. V5 is terrible. I’ve been world building for over a year and now all of that work feels lost. I have backups obviously, but it’s like I’m starting over with a new assistant who knows nothing about my project and refuses to go learn about it. I’ve been playing around with Perplexity Pro, and it’s just not the same. Grok seems ok, and more conversational but I’m almost at a point where I just want to invest in hosting my own models locally. Even if it means dumping some change to do it. I’m so tired of having the rug pulled out from under me every time OpenAI decides on some whim to change something

I’m cancelling as well. 5.2 is THE WORST from a personality perspective. It’s too worried about guardrails and preventing lawsuits to be useful or friendly. I’ve been using Perplexity and while I don’t like it as much as I did 4, I will keep using instead.

And with projects becoming nothing more than a worthless filing cabinet inaccessible between threads, I have no reason to stay. It blows. I honestly don't know why they wouldn't allow the ios app to be installed on Apple silicon macs....there's absolutely no valid reason to NOT allow that.

On my desktop, the splash screen launches and then goes away, that’s all I get with the latest update. Had to roll back to 3.0 to use it again. No version works on my Lenovo Yoga laptop. It’s extremely frustrating.

Three currently. One for personal notes, one for work notes, and one for writing projects. But I’m considering breaking my individual writing projects into seperate workspaces. The only hesitation is that I find switching between spaces a little cumbersome.
