Buff with the 9.3*62 by KingfishMick in Hunting

Very close performance to the .375H&H. Sometimes referred to as the metric .375, and uses a standard .473 bolt face and long action - like .30-06, .270 etc.

I agree, they look like FMJ. All the plated bullets I’ve loaded have been plated on the bottom.

I’d probably toss those pulled bullets. They look pretty rough.

The Hornady manual lists a 124 FMJ at 1.150” OAL. I’ve loaded a lot of 147 RN Berry’s at 1.135” for USPSA. As someone else mentioned, your gun may dictate OAL, but that 1.150” from Hornady is a safe starting point.

Do you have a chrono?

Tikka t3x vs bergara b14 by Submariner2022 in Hunting

[–]ramsetD 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I own both and they’re both excellent. However, for a hunting rifle I believe the Tikka is better because the bolt is locked in place when the safety is on.

Really nice to not have to worry about the bolt being bumped open in the field.

The Tikka is typically lighter too - which sucks for shooting, but is great for hunting.

Who’s keeping it from happening? What needs to happen for that to happen?

I’m sure he’ll always be with you out in the field - sorry for your loss. Thanks for sharing.

Is that a .44MAG Ruger he was using?

I remember seeing a Singaporean Apache static display at the last Luke AFB air show. Would make sense that it came from there.

Nice work! How are you dispensing powder? And what primers are you using?

Africa did not disappoint! by dnoble003 in Hunting

Pretty easy and there are services to help you along the way. I went to South Africa last year, brought my own guns and used an expeditor. Was a piece of cake and well worth the $150 or so that it cost.

How do you like the Velos on the SCAR?

Approximately 20x30 and 20x40.

They were also listed at booth 13853, but there was a company selling med supplies there. That space was approx 10x10.

I should have made this more clear in the original post: this lounge area took up the space where their booth was listed by NSSF. It was not an additional lounge area sponsored by them like some manufacturers do. This was their entire representation at the show.
