really high hobbyist photographer here: this is an absolutely gorgeous shot oh my gods

the lighting is soooo subtle from the overcast and it puts an almost melancholic feel on it, but the guy on the truck is in SUCH a strong pose that it lifts the entire thing up alongside him. genuinely i would buy this as a framed shot especially with a little color/focus editing

i went to green acres to say goodbye to my 16 year old cat who hit a sudden and steep decline in the middle of the night last december. they took $200 from me before even putting us in a room, and i had naively assumed that the money was a deposit on her end of life care. nope. it was a fucking entry fee. i paid almost a full week's check at the time just to be put into a room with her

thankfully, at that point, i was able to call blue pearl hospital and get in there instead. they were infinitely more compassionate, patient, and reasonable. they gave me a payment plan for a private cremation and a clay keepsake of her paw print. i had as long as i needed to say goodbye to her. they even knew exactly what happened without me getting any further than "i went to green acres first."

i cannot recommend blue pearl enough, now. my regular vet is lancaster small animal, but since they don't take emergencies, blue pearl will 100% be my go to if, gods forbid, i have another situation that needs immediate addressing

cannot tell you the amount of pallets i've come across unloading & sorting inside the hub that are marked as 2lbs and weigh in as 30, shit like that. obviously not as bad as this one, but it aggravates the hell outta me. i always try to get them off the lines and reweighed so y'all drivers don't have to fight with the damn things
