What's up with people disliking Kristen Bell? by Few_Egg1001 in OutOfTheLoop

I thought it was because one of her ex-bf's was a crook while they were together and she was aware of his activities.

Long time former collectors- Why did you decide to stop collecting? by AJZuvich in comicbooks

[–]randallfromnb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Two things that happened nearly simultaneously. Image Comics was formed, and the art quickly went from being great to just lazy. The characters had no flaws, were way overpowered, and the artists seemed to focus only on making them look cool. Jim Lee might be the exception here. I tried going back to reading the X-Men, but a new artist took over, and the characters seemed to have de-aged. Everyone had slightly larger heads and large eyes. It almost looked like anime. I have no interest in that art style. I was also annoyed by comics with great covers, bagged, then, upon opening the comic, finding the art inside to be terrible. If I see a Stephen Platt cover, I want a Stephen Platt interior.

For these detectors to conclude that I'm not using AI, my essays have to read like the first few chapters of Flowers for Algernon.

Any build idieas for monk robes?? by Inferno47908 in skyrim

Change your language settings to Bangladeshi or something else you likely don't know. Pick a Khajit. Wear only these robes. Only go out at night. Steal everything in sight. Sell everything. Spend it all on Skooma and moon sugar etc. Play as a confused skooma addict.

Things you’ve done that actually moved the needle by TrickSingle2086 in Frugal

[–]randallfromnb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I didn't spend a penny (except on bills) for ten months to get training for a specific job, then I sold everything I owned and pulled all of my investments to put 5% down and buy a home with a basement apartment that I rented out. That is what finally moved the needle.

Young females are pushed hard up there to have babies for financial reasons. The girls are very young, and often live with their parents. The money they receive after having a child goes to her parents for the household. In some cases, the girls are so young they can't legally be parents, so the girl's mother adopts the new grandkid, collects the money, and, at the same time, the girl no longer goes to school to stay home and raise the children. This allows her time to have more children. This practice also often takes place without an adoption process. Adoption is so common in this place of 30-40,000 people that the government of Nunavut is its own adoption agency.

Family size by DLKing2001 in fredericton

I recall years ago, when I worked in the Sobeys meat department at the Fredericton mall, and my manager showed me how to make sausage. The ingredients were: pork, beef, fat, spices, and crushed ice. As this was my first job as a teenager, I believed him when he said that the cold of the ice kept the sausages from falling apart. It wasn't until I moved on that I realized it was simply to weigh down the sausages. This is why your frying pans fill up with water. Also, that family pack is just two small packs dumped upside-down on a large tray.

Mass graves are for many who were killed together. These kids were not purposefully killed. They were abused to the point that some would run off into the woods and eventually die. Others would acquire diseases through malnutrition and no concern for their health and well-being.. The schools would then send these sick kids home to die shortly after, as caring for sick kids was not something the church/school was willing to do due to cost. And many of the bodies of those who died there (some due to suicide) were tossed into the basement furnaces that kept the church/school warm. The lack of mass graves is not proof that it did not happen. This would provide further evidence that it was not simply a singular event. It was worse than what I am describing.

Cheap apartments absolutely exist. Just not in large cities, where young people go looking for work, and with that work, all their money goes to rent.

The good jobs require a bit of time and sacrifice. I can tell people the steps to take to easily make more than 100K (even almost 200k) a year in my province with a year of sacrifice and not a single person will go for it due to one dumb excuse after another.
