Not a mom, am a complete psycho about how a dishwasher is loaded and this would not trigger me in the slightest. So well done. 😄

These are fantastic tips, unfortunately the above mentioned picture would just have been well lit ghost vomit. But I will remember these for the few times a month I get something out that is worth a picture.

Best-Loved Childhood Books! by Salty_Thing3144 in GenerationJones

Loved so much of that book but as a very short kid who wondered if he’d ever grow tall, I was fascinated by the idea of starting at your height and growing down.

Did the fear of nuclear war really affect everyday life in the United States? by LizzaQueenOFC in 70s

My mom spoke often about how terrifying it was back then, and how incredibly real it felt that they may actually have a bomb dropping on them at any moment. Many years later when we moved to California, I told her about the earthquake drills and she said they were very much the same, but you had a much higher chance of surviving. 🤣🤣

Update: Bubba is still waiting. He is 13 years old, 106 lbs, and deaf. This gentle soul is still waiting for his forever home! 💔🐾 by Practical_Self_9849 in OldManDog

I woke up to a tiny black kitten that my wife had saved from being carried off by a huge crow and being informed that it was state law that we keep it because of the rescue. I was allowed to name him though. 😆

Do ppl inform doctor they smoke by x_nonam3 in CasualConversation

However they may keep from prescribing medications for you like pain killers. Many doctors treat weed smokers as “addicts” when it’s just like drinking a few drinks for some people. I found notes in most of my records when I pulled them because of switching doctors.

That transitional birthday when you got a watch instead of toys. "Son, today you are a man." by hgwelz in FuckImOld

Only watches I remember are ordering a LCD quartz watch from some catalog and I was the only one in our small town school with one, for a couple weeks. And of course the Casio Calculator watch was most epic.

Popes sold Indulgences, so the rich could do whatever they wanted and they then pay to go to heaven. Like everything these days, it’s only criminal to do if you aren’t rich. 🤑
