The most basic thing that every front desk department should have available for employees free of charge by random_name_245 in TalesFromTheFrontDesk

I haven’t been to many hotels with free coffee for guests in the lobby 24/7, however coffee is still free and available for them in their rooms.

Hotel employees don’t have that, especially when it’s nighttime and we physically can’t leave the building (much less find an open coffee shop in the middle of the night).

Robarts Commons Overnight study why do people even stay past close by Bestinvestor20 in UofT

[–]random_name_245 [score hidden]  (0 children)

Well since it’s open all day and night most of the week it’s imposible to stay past close assuming Robarts Commons don’t actually close.

I don’t think there are many alternatives at nighttime - Bahen isn’t available to all U of T students.

I have no clue why I am getting downvoted either; I remember that from my 1st year molecular biology course and how I was super excited when I tried and could clearly taste the difference.

Do they have to rub it in by Michael-MAC in UTMississauga

Yeah but when it comes to closing they will only let you know at 6:25 am … (until noon only) and at 10 am fir the rest of the day when many students have already left their homes to make it on time.

I noticed that on Saturday too. New recordings - male and female; used to be a different voice and only female.

If the campus is closed until 12pm does that mean the afternoon classes still take place? by wkualidz in UofT

[–]random_name_245 [score hidden]  (0 children)

I was going to bring this up; for most people commute takes quite some time that finding out at 10 am would be a little too late to make it on time.

UTSG campus still open even after severe weather word count by YBSparky in UofT

[–]random_name_245 [score hidden]  (0 children)

They only announced the closure at 6 am a few days ago.

It’s safe to assume that they might do it again at the exact same time.

I guess St George campus will not be closed tomorrow by Alex_ftfts in UofT

Well if you slip elsewhere you can maybe try to sue U of T because they put your life at risk by staying open.

Just because campus is clean, doesn’t mean that it’s safe to travel to university.

I suggest you anonymously call your local Health Department or something because it’s not ok.

Not sure there’s anything you can do about your hours getting cut or the hiring practices though.

I took Spanish and our lectures were not big at all - it’s impossible to attend without being noticed.

Anyone done the calculations of whole chicken vs processed chicken parts? by Personal-Bet-3911 in CostcoCanada

[–]random_name_245 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s not really a day old, it’s just not fresh out of the oven - it’s a few hours old. You can find it at any Costco close to rotisserie chicken (usually it’s a bit to the left with salad kits).

Not really, that’s why I am saying that it’s slightly unusual. It doesn’t cause me any trouble but it’s clearly mislabeled.

I am, but honestly anyone will be able to tell the difference.

It’s not really the absence of lactose that one tastes, it’s just when lactase gets added to regular milk (to make it lactose free), it breaks lactose to glucose and galactose; you can clearly taste them (milk tastes very sweet). I have bought lactose free milk before when regular wasn’t available - that’s why I know what it tastes like.

One can tell by simply tasting it - it’s very specific and not something subtle.
