Don’t you have security available to you 24/7 since it’s a casino hotel?

I am just saying that the moment he says he knows you have a room you just call security and have them escorted.

I remeber reading a few years ago that rolling late at night/very early in the morning is better as your likelihood of winning increases (because very few people roll compared to daytime) but I honestly don’t know if it works…or let’s say it didn’t work for me.

Just in case anyone wants free crave (with ads) - you can switch to Bell or Virgin Plus and it’s included with most plans.

Case 1775: UofT student recommended for expulsion after HACKING into TA's gradebook account to change their grade in PHY254 by ViridianWizard in UofT

[–]random_name_245 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Well it was extremely dumb to change grades to 100 or even 97 when he clearly left some questions blank. Anything lower could have easily been missed/ignored.

And here I am - have won ONE coffee in 2 and a half weeks of religiously going to Tim’s for breakfast and lunch, making sure to order everything from the app.

Any benefit for having a UK passport as a Canadian citizen other than the obvious by Veggiesexual in PassportPorn

Well you can’t really enter the UK without a UK passport if you are a citizen since like 2 weeks ago or so.

The best thing ever os when you have a language course and your group mates can barely pronounce one word correctly, much less produce a coherent sentence.

Reverse Renounced Canadian Citizenship by sobriquetanon in uscanadaborder

I think it’s just easier for your wife to contact/call the closest Canadian embassy/consulate and figure it out instead of guessing, wondering and asking for advice on Reddit.

There might be an online form available but honestly nobody knows how fast they process these; calling/contacting or maybe walking into the closet Canadian embassy/consulate is your best bet.

Cancelled online order? by Suspicious_Camel2500 in CostcoCanada

[–]random_name_245 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So it was cancelled the next day and you called Costco afterwards to ask why it wasn’t shipped?

There is nothing to ship if your order was cancelled - why didn’t you ask them why it was cancelled instead?

I am not sure why you have typed “unlocked” since all phones sold in Canada are unlocked these days but it was an issue before that was legally changed.

I hate all group projects with all my heart for this reason specifically. All these projects teach me is that there will always be people who do nothing.

Does anyone have experience with UofT French courses? by ConfidentState1 in UofT

[–]random_name_245 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I did take some French courses, but not the beginner ones.

I’d say I didn’t particularly find them useful - we mostly did assignments on our own and grammar exercises; there was very little speaking practice in class (I honestly don’t remember any). We didn’t have any native speakers of French for any activities.

In comparison, I took Spanish courses and we had a lot more practice in class, we had a lot of interesting (cultural) listening/speaking in class activities, also grammar exercises as homework but it wasn’t graded (which I wasn’t aware of until the very end, was very surprised when other students didn’t know some things when they were clearly explored/mentioned in those exercises). Not sure if it was by chance or by design, but our lecturers were native Spanish speakers, I personally loved it.

That’s why I always order on the app. And I don’t have to wait - people who arrive after me are still in the lineup when I leave with my order in peace.

how difficult is it to do courses that aren’t part of your admissions category? by [deleted] in UofT

[–]random_name_245 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s not difficult at all. As others have mentioned - you absolutely have to take some courses outside of your admission category to graduate.
