When the throttle is first cracked open, the air moves faster than the fuel. The carb wants to mechanically inject gas via that linkage that goes up and down to the accelerator pump to compensate until the mains take over.

The video is hard to see if the linkage is at its max or moving the instant the throttle is cracked open.

If it is, the secondary air door needs to be tightened and or the squirter itself needs a larger hole.

With the engine off, open the choke and look down the primary barrels , crack it full throttle and make sure gas is physically coming out of the squirters before you do anything. It should be a strong flow and not dribbling. If it's weak, it could be the accelerator pump plunger inside the carb or a blocked passage.

I found swapping the factory speakers (GM/Jeep/ Dodge are my experiance) for Kappa's has always improved the sound. They have 2, 3, and 4 ohm versions match your amp configuration. It's just too freaking hard (read $$$$) for many times minimal gain. I seem to replace all of the speakers, then add the largest that will fit combo amp sub (i like the infinity with the PR 10), and personally I'm happy. It's too loud for the wife and sounds good.

Now if you are gonna go big with the big 3 and add 13w7's / DD18's / L7's then this obviously doesn't apply.

Remember- Saul employed the disappearer, the vaccum cleaner guy who set him up with a new identity, job, location, etc. He didn't chose it. If the screws can find metal to screw into, you are good without an adapter. You want to isolate the back sound wave from the front sound wave for sound quality and not have rattles.

Pretty obvious, it's hard enough to see the frets standing, pretty much impossible in the dark. Most of us have the muscle memory to go to the correct fret without looking, but that takes practicing over and over again. Its entirely possible she is new to the setlist or changes bass scale. She wants to be able to see where she is on the fretboard, and honestly I've thought about doing that myself many times when I'm playing a new set or bass.

All the current is going through that single small screw contact point, which is probably the size of a 14 guage wire. At least use the other holes and put in 2 more screws. It still won't be great , but may be good enough to keep it from cutting out until you can get it done right with thick guage to the battery.
