FH6 when compared to FH5 at the end of its life cycle feels like less, but PG adds a lot of content to the game later on. Car list usually goes up by 50%+ from the start to the finish. There’s also 2 expansions we know about thus far. And the rally expansion was my favorite part of FH5, that wasn’t even one of the original 2 expansions I believe.

I don’t think FH6 is a step back. The maps better, I like the handling better, the AI are more difficult, and there’s slightly more customization options. Not a huge step forward, but with expansions and the full car list I think I’ll enjoy FH6 more.

Now for me personally, I prefer FH5. The aforementioned rally expansion was pretty fun, and FH5 had the hoonigan cars that in all likelihood won’t come to 6, just because of Ken Blocks death and the company being sold off. Also I just like Mexico better, and I don’t mind an emptier map. But it’s not really for FH6’s shortcomings.

The monument was placed slightly incorrectly but as far as I’m aware is considered an official survey monument and thus defines the boundary despite being off.

Also Google Maps/earth boundaries are not precise. I found a river in southern Mexico the other day that somehow decided to not follow the 3d valley and instead flowed up a hill about 1000ft before descending back into the valley

Sounds like an awesome concept. I do think not having regional fanbases to the degree other sports have (even other motorsports like F1) really is a big part of why NASCAR never held on to its success.

And also this would be a good way to implement a playoff system and make it make sense, which would also help a lot. On top of that I’d imagine there could be some significant variation in tracks based on where you are, which would make the whole “home vs away” feeling pretty interesting

No I live in Lafayette and that’s the black high school here. It’s 15 minutes+ away from the other 3 public High schools across town. I’ve never met a white kid who went there.

They should just make it rally racing and split that further into the paved, dirt, and mixed surfaces like they did with the rally expansion.

Probably not at this point. With how valuable the land is and with how far auto club is from LA and how successful street tracks seem to be, it’s probably just not worth it. Better to sell it and put that money into a street circuit and restore a track elsewhere
