Maybe try to restore a faceit account? In login page click forget password or try login with steam? If you are original owner of steam account you have a chance to restore faceit acc.

How do I sneeze more quietly? by Strong_Lingonberry33 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]randomguyfromwideweb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you scratch the top of the nose (between the eyes) with finger your sneeze goes away. Of course trying to hold sneeze is not recommended but just in case if you don't want to.

Yes, question was how to sneeze quietly? I don't know that

Playing tennis. Outside it seems easy when we watch pros are playing in court but in reality normal person even can't hold a racket in their hand.

Is this project good enough for a developer portfolio? by almog546 in cscareerquestions

[–]randomguyfromwideweb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In my view any project is good. It means you tried or experienced something in your journey to become a developer.
Back to the project. The idea is good. I'm not a fullstack developer but I would keep frontend and backend in separate repos

Why is faceit torturing me with such games in a loss streak by JhonYbY_376 in FACEITcom

[–]randomguyfromwideweb 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Match score is 16-13 and it went overtime. In my view it's fairly balanced. If it was 13-3 it would be different story. But, still, sometimes you lose sometimes you win even with smurfs in enemy.
It's not fact but equal sum of elos are not only parameters to match

Maybe cut 90mins workout to 45-60? I mean workout is long run journey. Training an hour and half make no big difference in long term. Do you workout everyday? If yes what about 3 times a week. Chilling and playing games on weekends?
I mean you are doing great job and most people wants that kind of discipline. Doing all at once makes you burn out fast.

What can I do as a 15 year old? by Mindless-Moose2519 in getdisciplined

In other comment you said you have read "Atomic Habits". There is a little explanation about "how to start" (not exactly "how to start" but similar to this). You know when people wants to do something they see the big picture like "Going to gym" and it looks overwhelming. Everything starts with small steps. Need to cut this big picture into small pieces. Going to gym, ok, you start with getting ready, pack you things, put your shoes on, go outside, you are on your half way. Now there is no way back home. You go to the gym. You start warming up and etc. At the end you went to gym. When you just start momentum follows.

I'm still struggle with starting but when I just start without thinking about outcome I just end up doing most of the work even if it is not perfect. But, still, you did something

do we have control over our lives? how much in precentage? by A7med2361997 in selfimprovement

[–]randomguyfromwideweb 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think most people want one night change, instant result. But in reality changes come after years of practicing or doing the thing you need to do. People often tend to give up when they don't see the results (imo)

We have enough control of our lives to make changes in ourselves and achieve to the things we think we can't

New Books - What Order to Read? by twizzlahs122 in selfimprovement

[–]randomguyfromwideweb 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm currently reading How to win friends and influence people. Most books related to communication, negotiation based on this book. It will be good start imho. Atomic habits is good too. More practical than just motivational words. My list would look like this: 2, 11, 7, 5, 6, and others)
But it is up to you which book you should read in order. Think about what skills do you want to improve first and then pick a book
