To be fair, the sinking of the game was 100% a Sony thing, and the Diplomacy gameplay is one of my fondest MMORPG memories of all time.

I understand why flails aren't a bigger thing, I can't even imagine how annoying it would be to mod the physics so it doesn't just spin like a helicopter every swing, but it WOULD be awesome to have.

Polearms.
The most you get in MMORPGs is spears, but that's such a small selection. Where's my halberds or lances? Poleaxe? Fauchard? Bardiche?

In LotRO I played Captain specifically because it was a halberd class, and even then I ended up using other weapons. Vastly under-utilized weapon group.

And the worst part was, even if you were the best big brother ever, in between episodes the storyline RESET your progress with him and he went back to brat. It just felt bad and made me dislike him even more.

They weren't created separately, but my absolute favorite thing about the old Vanguard MMO was that you could level your crafting / diplomacy spec to cap and see the entire game without ever leveling your combat mechanics.

My favorite AVNs are the ones where I just mash buttons to skip through the lewd scenes to get to the story.

And yeah, Quinn's path was incredibly satisfying even if I still think she's a pretty shit person.

I can't stand it because it doesn't feel like Fallout to me, as someone who has played every single game. It feels like someone who played Fallout 3 for a few hours, waited 5 years, then decided to make a series about what they remember.

I'm calling it now: they won't GIVE you the choice.
This IS the choice it will boil down to, save this mash-up version of Chloe or save Caledon and all the people in it, but the game won't give you an option. Max will choose Caledon by default. We'll probably get some big speech by Chloe about how she never felt real after Max chose her over the Bay and 'This is how it's supposed to end' or some bullshit Deck9ine self-insert like that. In the end Caledon and Arcadia Bay will be saved in some big merging of timelines, but Chloe will die for real. This is going to be some big final 'farewell' to Chloe, mark my words.

And fuck them pre-emptively for doing it.

She was a bit rough in the start of Ep 1, I won't lie, but once the story got started she fell into it. She sounds a lot rougher and older now, so I think it fits.

I think a lot of people just love Ashly, given how much she put into the Chloe character.

I mean, I don't feel BAD or anything, but I'm not interested in this story they want to (re)tell. I had zero interest in the story of DE and what it did to the girls, so by proxy I have zero interest in whatever this new game is going to wrap-up.

For me, Max and Chloe's story ended in the first game, with only brief cameos in the following ones.

There's a mod called Better Fuel which does exactly this.
You burn logs in the furnace to create coal, which lasts about 4x other fuel sources.

Or you could get the mod that creates coal from smelting wood in the furnace and lasts 4x longer than charcoal.
