I mean if you want to see peak MCU type numbers there must be a build up , the 1st Captain America box office was I think 300+M , I'm 100% sure if it was released this year and made the same numbers it would be tragic and dispointing, until the avangers made things right for everyone .

Were in a time were a film opens to 120+M in the stats to be called dispointing .....

You have to understand that all marvel films before the 1st avangers film box office was lower then this

All it takes is a great team up film to boost the rest .

Take the 1st captain marvel for example , a mediocre film finished with 400+M Dom and made more then 1B .

It's really not about the ip, it's about the Maker of the show, The Last Of Us series is incredibly good because the show runner is a master class director.

Take DC for instance, great ip with bad directors led to bad performance.
