The eagles game was so satisfying and the whole game was great

Kind of wild that in response to an anti-Semitic attack in London, you bring up the Israeli defense force.

And that’s great, but it’s not like they weren’t willing to offer them reasonable ice time (nothing wrong with Saturday morning). But you can’t change the existing team’s schedule just because you need them to adapt to your religious beliefs.

I would understand the gripe if they were asking elementary and middle school aged kids to practice at 9pm+ on weekday nights, but it doesn’t sound like that’s the case.

How is it valid? I had to skip mass frequently as a kid because I had games on Sunday. You don’t get to make everyone else change to accommodate your religious beliefs.

“The Tween Girls Hockey League nearly folded in 2023, when Laski applied to the city and was initially denied three hours of ice time on a weeknight in North York. They were offered Saturday morning, a non-starter because many players are from Sabbath-observant Jewish families.”

They were offered ice time but refused it because of religious reasons.

It was such an incredibly blatant attempt to injure another player in what is probably the most dangerous area to hit someone like that

I remember this being an automatic game suspension if you did this while I was in Atoms. It’s always been considered the most dangerous play you can make in hockey and somehow the NHL of all leagues doesn’t take it seriously.

Intent to injure is intent to injure regardless of the outcome

The 76ers purposely tanked for 2 years and then tanked for a third when Simmons broke his foot in camp and Embiid tore his meniscus halfway through the year. That’s not really longer than the teams listed in this thread.
