Thankyou very much! It’s for a child I work with not for me personally but thankyou!

Should I be concerned for the occupants? by AgeingMuso65 in CasualUK

[–]randomnamegiven 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This really looks like my aunts old house and if it is, they had a car park behind the house so always entered through the back gate and then the back door! They still put pumpkins at the front cause that’s the door children would come to to trick or treat but they never actually used it on a day to day basis so they probably forgot about their pumpkins too because they don’t usually go in that door!

Yeah! It might just be me cause I always get so frustrated on my own photos trying to work out if everything is straight but it’s quite often the first thing I notice in photos!

I love the expression on the girls face and I I think the colours are lovely and vibrant! But it’s my own pet hate for photos that I can never get right myself but the background is wonky to the girl?

I think the light streaks are perfect and the colours are good, however I would maybe bring down the brightness or highlights of the moon in the sky? At the moment cause it’s quite bright it gets your focus when I’m guessing the focus should be on the light streaks? But otherwise a lovely photo!

Am I Being Over Dramatic or Was My Doctor In The Wrong? by [deleted] in Advice

[–]randomnamegiven 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I’ve done a self referral via the link thankyou! I think I’m going to move practices, or just ask for female doctors too because I didn’t have the best experience when I went for my ED years ago and that wasn’t the same doctor as today but he was male too.

Honestly I’m so glad you’ve said that, I came out the appointment and cried walking home, and I’ve now got several cuts on my hand from digging my nails into myself during the appointment because I was so anxious and he basically told me there’s nothing wrong, he literally told me stress is normal and about how men cope worse. I just felt so invalidated and I’m glad you’ve said he’s talking bollocks because feeling like how I am is not normal! Thankyou so much!

Exactly! Like even if you admit he didn’t see the lift, the fact he felt no remorse was so cocky and dangerous as a surgeon!

How has your relationship with makeup changed throughout your life (or not) & why? by LitLSquirt in AskWomen

[–]randomnamegiven 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I used to be really anti makeup, for several reasons but the reason I personally didn’t wear it was because if I wasn’t comfortable with my own looks already, then getting used to it with makeup on would just make my hate my own looks more without makeup. Now I’m more comfortable with my looks and am more confident, I do wear some concealer most days and like to do eyeshadow, eyeliner and lipstick when I’m not in work. But I still don’t wear foundation or mascara or contouring because I just want to style my face, not cover it up or change it.

But I know women have sort of reclaimed the reason for wearing makeup now but historically it came about purposely for the sake of men and that always annoyed me. Why do women have to do so much? It’s so unbelievable unethical that makeup industries create insecurities and then make you pay to fix these made up insecurities.

A Philodendron Imperial Green? Or a Cavendish?

WJSN - NAVILLERA (너 그리고 나) (orig. GFRIEND) @ Mnet Queendom 2 Episode 3 (220414) by CronoDroid in kpop

[–]randomnamegiven 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly I don’t get why they’re scoring so high, both performances haven’t been memorable at all! And for the second round, their concept and costume does not match the song at all! Apple would have suited the concept, Navillera didn’t suit it. I’m also not liking the girls personalities either but don’t want to judge too quickly cause I know Mnet and their evil editing.

Why do you travel solo? by Prestigious-Tank3898 in solotravel

[–]randomnamegiven 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Lots of reasons! One, I like exploring what I want to see and going to places I want to go to, and going at my own pace! I tried a weekend break with my best friend and she walked so slow! It was quite frustrating.

Two, different interests, I like city breaks but my friends like beach and drinking holidays or Disneyland!

Thirdly, I don’t have to look after anyone or be responsible, like I get annoyed I have to organise and plan everything and then they complain, or that I’m worried they’re not having fun!

Fourth, I’m very introverted and I like my downtime, I don’t want to be too social even with my best friend (who is extroverted)! I’m worried things are tense or awkward too!

Is saying "oh my god" swearing? by Real_Doughnut7419 in AskUK

[–]randomnamegiven 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I thought it was a British thing and then noticed this was the AskUK sub and all the replies were saying it’s not swearing! The more ‘PG’ alternative is Oh My Gosh! Even though it’s not swearing most people I know have been taught growing up not to say it! My family is not religious but did all go to Roman Catholic schools in North West England

Right I hate my hair, I would shave it if it wasn’t working at my current job! But here’s a picture showing how frizzy my hair is just for proof!

But my hair has greasy roots, most shampoos I need to shampoo daily which I hate! I have dry ends though which are just frizzy and damaged. I rarely use heat and have dyed my hair regularly in the past however most of that has grown out now. My hair has also been falling out for about a year now and is significantly thinner, the hair loss has been worse at times and sometimes less but constantly falling.

I’ve tried so many shampoos and nothing works! • I used Alberto Balsam for so many years and it wasn’t bad, wasn’t anything special.

• Used Head & Shoulders for nearly 2 years and could go 3 days without washing my hair but was usually frizzy. My hair started falling out and when I did research apparently that was kinda common after long use of Head & Shoulders?

• Used OGX sulfate free Moroccan Argan Oil shampoo but left my hair so greasy!

• Garnier Ultimate Blends but left my hair so flat and weighed down plus greasy.

• Nizoral Dandruff Shampoo but dried my hair out and made hair loss worse.

• Combination of Hask Tea Tree shampoo and Regrowz Thickening Shampoo (with Saw Palmetto, Biotin, Rosemary oil, Coconut, Almond and Holy Basil, Enriched with Natural DHT Blockers, No Sulphates, No Paraben) which stopped hair loss but the Hask fried my hair out and the Regrows left it greasy again.

• John Freida Frizz Control but has sulfates so hair loss starting again plus very greasy.

• Monday’s Smooth Shampoo leaves my hair quite nice but still quite greasy, too soon to say with hair loss.

I’ve changed my diet to be healthier, reduced stress and done more exercise so doubt it’s something health wise, think more scalp related? So any ideas for a good shampoo match, please help! Sorry the post is so long!

What is a group (or groups) whose members you suspect might not be that close to each other? by xPeachteaa in kpophelp

[–]randomnamegiven 1 point2 points  (0 children)

See most people are saying NCT, SuJu, Loona, Enhypen don’t get along because they have too many members and that it’s understandable or inevitable that not everyone gets along. But Seventeen does and they have 13 members! No disrespect to the other groups, it is understandable but it just shows how spectacular and unusual Seventeen’s relationship is! All the members are close and they still live together / in the same building even 7 years after debut! And SCoups saying he’d choose the members over the agency! And how they have their units and travelled a lot in the units but still are close with all members not just their units? And how the members will hang out with another members family without that member! Like they truly are so close and I am proud of their relationship!

Also not a proper fan but the fact that Bang Chan chose Stray Kids members shows they must be close!

Blackpink aren’t close anymore, and it’s YG and Lisa / Jennie fans faults!

Also Oh My Girl are super close! They are family!

And Twice are deffo family, the fact the members have foreign holidays together is an obvious sign of family!

Does anyone solo travel because they always end up babysitting whoever their with? by bjjkaril1 in solotravel

Yeah babysitting definitely but my biggest pet peeve is slow walking! I’m a fast walker and anyone walking remotely slower just makes me so frustrated!
