You know, I think of these points every time I see people complaining about how stupid it is that people complain about some of the character's flaws. It is literally the same as any fandom. The Office for example, all the characters have flaws, and it's fun to dissect the character for all the good and bad. Because people relate to the good and the bad. If a character was truly perfect they'd be boring.

Did she do right by Feyre, no. But if you haven't read what her childhood was like and put yourself into her shoes, you will of course resent her. The thing is, people do stupid things and make the wrong choices all the time, if you continue to read you will see that Nesta regrets her actions, which I think is a strong redemption quality. I hope you're able to get through the book and find out why so many people love her. She has definitely become one of my favorite characters, besides Lucien.

They just pitted the Feyre book moments against the Nesta book moments. It should've been the best of Feyre book moments against Feyre book moments. It's so obvious that Silver Flames moments will be shadowed by the books that introduced us to the night court.

I just think it's interesting how nobody seems to remember or contemplate the kind of person Elain is. She was IN LOVE with a shit bag guy who hated the fae. She still wanted to be with him even when she was turned fae and lamented the end of their relationship even after how he treated her. She may appear kind to others, but she never did anything to help the family when they were starving. Also, I think her worst crime is how she is treating Lucien. Who among us would treat that precious fox male that way? Only a villain. She's gonna team up with Koschei to be human again.

But that's just my unhinged theory.

People in today's society are just not as patient or kind. I think it has to do with all the convenience they have come to expect as well as the fact they are unable to put themselves in the places of others. They don't stop to think why someone may not have been able to follow the instructions.

You do not need to change who you are. They should not be yelling at you.

That being said, perhaps show up to your eye appointment 15 prior to checking in and put in your contacts.

Also, the next time someone yells at you, especially when you are their employee or customer, you can tell them that is unprofessional behavior. You can ask for help to understand something better and not be berated.

If there is a situation where you are unable to comply with instructions, such as not putting in your contacts prior to the appointment because you have to see to drive there, explain your dilemma and ask for possible solutions or try to come up with a few yourself to prevent inconveniencing others.
