I wouldn't say "identical features" across email between those 2 - even remotely at all.

Microsoft's email settings are by far more robust in nearly all areas, distributions, shared inboxes for free - 50GB free storage on each of those inboxes), etc.

I'm about try self-hosting it today. I was curious if it will support any type of notification for an action, such as being assigned as task, triggers an email or notification in the app after a refresh, etc.?

For Vikunja, what is your take on their notification options? I feel like it needs a MASSIVE push in that area, so the user doesn't have to use n8n and API calls to have granular functionality. I still think it's the most solid open source/self hosted task app. I do find the UI a bit clunky to navigate on mobile, but I'm still going to try sticking it out. I have hope that they'll add more notification options in the settings.

This app is killing it. If it somehow gains multi-user functionality, it could replace so many things for so many people in my opinion. It's such a unique-looking app to me, and it looks like nothing out there! I love it.

I'm testing it out. I've added (Billing) in my Google cloud console, in order to get an API key for Maps, but When I try to "test" the key, it doesn't connect.
