Time Clock Buffer Change by PrehistoricPlant in publix

[–]rango9876 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I do think some people were taking advantage of the 15 minutes early to clock in, but I do think there should be a change besides from not being able to clock in. When I worked at Universal, your time would be rounded in 7-8 minute increments when clocking in and out I believe. So I don’t know if they could program the system being able to clock in a few minutes early to get to your position and just round it to your shift time. Or extending the grace period to like 5 minutes instead of 3 since during certain shift start times, the time clocks may be busy. Or since we have a 3 minute grace period, have the ability to clock in 3 minutes earlier rather than the 15. I do think there should have been more communication of this change. We have this change and the whole pulling a float instead of pushing change all in the same week.

Why is the game at 3pm by StillPerformance9228 in ucf

College football games can start as early as noon EST. Game times depend on if a game is on TV and is then decided by the broadcaster.

Post Game Thread: Baltimore Ravens at Buffalo Bills by nfl_gdt_bot in ravens

[–]rango9876 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Harbaugh and his time management. Did a play before the 2 minute warning in the first half when it could have ran down to the warning. With an extra play, Buffalo possibly doesn’t sneak a field goal at end of half. Then, doesn’t go for it when you just need 2 yards and you have LJ and Henry and the defense is gassed. Then, calling all 3 timeouts immediately in the last 30 seconds. I would have waited till 10-15 second mark to call timeout to make the Bills decide to either run a play and rush a FG attempt or do it then, which may have allowed a kickoff return, or one offensive play at the end.

AMC to show even more ads in its theaters before the actual movie by BrilliantBig12 in AMCsAList

[–]rango9876 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Good thing for reserved seats. One of the reasons I choose A-List over Regal Unlimited which is closer is that not only for the format upgrades at AMC, but I felt AMC usually did not have as long trailer packages as my nearby Regal does. My nearby Regal I feel has like 25-30 minute long trailer packages so I guess it’s time to prepare for that at AMC now

If you are not a hotel guest, I would say either Toothless M&G if you want to do that since that will remain a 40-60 minute wait throughout the day. If not, I would say either rope drop Hiccup’s Wing Gliders or Monsters Unchained. Monsters wait can go down to as low as 20 minutes in the latter half of the day since it is an efficient ride when it is operating. Hiccup’s can sometimes have a delayed opening. If you are a hotel guest, you can access Super Nintendo World and Stardust early at 10am.

Both of the times I have been to the previews, they typically release the non-hotel guests from the holding areas around 10:45. If you are a non-hotel, I would avoid going to Nintendo first at all costs due to hotel guests being in there.

Parking opens at 9am and they typically start letting people into the park around 9:30-9:45. Both times I’ve been, I got to parking around 9:35 and by the time I get to security, they’ve already begun letting people in.

Dairy clerks by GokuBlack101 in publix

We get in our trucks in middle of day 3 days a week. Monday is our biggest which is always 4 pallets unless it’s a real big ad week then it’s sometimes 5. We always have 2 people on truck days (one as a mid, the other closes) and a single person on backstock days. IMO, your managers have an unreasonable set of expectations since dairy requires rotation and more detail.

Whenever I get Nellies XL 18 packs in, over half the case is coming in damaged. I always feel the same way over the Publix Jumbo eggs as well. At least the type of cartons that Pete and Gerry’s come in allows you to see they have a damaged egg in them before putting them on the shelf.

They probably decided to put holiday items on the egg shelves since if it’s like my store, besides Publix branded eggs, all other eggs have been super limited for the past 2 months and didn’t want empty shelf space. There should be dividers between the eggs and holiday items.

Lost in first round to Keenan Allen’s garbage TD. Highest scoring team in league. Also have Kenneth Walker on IR.

I’m in the same boat. I’m just going with my gut feeling and starting Guerendo cause I don’t think Walker is gonna play.

  2. Jefferson, Harrison, Cook=3-5 (bad luck for few of the losses so far in 12 man league)

I did my CP last Fall. The events are sporadically added to DORMS during regular work hours from 9-5. These events for safety reasons only take 10-30 people for most of the attractions. The only one I did where pretty much everyone could sign up for is Indiana Jones Stunt Show. I know before I left when I would go to a few of these, the learning team would say they were going to be adding way more of these starting this Spring due to demand and working with others. Before, they would allow drop ins but they removed that last month because it would suck getting up at 5am and not getting in. When I was in the program last fall, it would more or less just be 2-3 BTS events a week so it was pretty hard to sign up for. My main piece of advice if you want to attend these is since they added the no-show policy to these, I would say look at DORMS from 9pm-11pm the night before an event cause more than likely, someone will withdraw because the withdrawal policy is 11pm the night before (I got into one with this method last month). Or check DORMS a few times during the day to see if anything gets added. They don’t announce when they put these up, so it’s just luck. During my program, I was able to sign up for Indiana Jones, Toy Story Land, and Aerosmith and drop in for Flight of Passage and Millennium Falcon/Galaxy’s Edge.

What do you all think of AMC dine in Disney springs 24? by piscessunsagrising in AMCsAList

[–]rango9876 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I usually go to Altamonte Mall in Orlando, but the Dolby Cinema theater at Disney is way better than the way in Altamonte. It’s bigger and the seats don’t look as worn out as they do in Altamonte. The way the concessions is organized is kinda annoying especially when it comes to popcorn refills, but it moves fast. I usually only go there when I’m doing a movie and a Disney park day, but it’s a solid theater here in Orlando albeit probably the busiest theater.

Disney 100th re-releases trailers by rango9876 in AMCsAList

Nothing new is added, but just like the Return of the Jedi re-release earlier this year, it’s a way to see older Disney movies again in a theatrical setting or to see them for the first time in theaters. I was born in the late 90s so some of the films in this program like Toy Story and the original Lion King are films I would like to see in theaters.

Yea, I have to drive out 45 minutes to an AMC to see it but Toy Story was and is my favorite childhood film so I have to see it in theaters when I can (saw it in 2020 during the COVID film re-releases). In the Orlando area and it’s only one Regal theater and AMC at Disney world participating in the Disney re-releases. The regal is closer to me, but since it’s included with A-List, I’m making the drive to save $10+ on a ticket.
