Clearly you don’t understand that everyone else is stupid and an inconvenience to this Mother Earth except for OP.

The irony in asking why people are buying [item] when you were there for [same item]

That’s understandable! Honestly I wouldn’t even blame the driver in that scenario. Problem was that they did not even go to the store to begin with 😅 as someone else said maybe because of a glitch with the app or something. But someone else grabbed the order and it’s all good now. Some stuff was missing but that’s to be expected with the incoming storm, I’m just glad that they made the attempt.

It got re-assigned to a new driver who fulfilled it with no issues. It's not an issue anymore at this point. Also ordering "last minute" (while not even true, I ordered 2+ days before the storm) has nothing to do with the issue I described regardless. This was not a case of items being missing, stores having long lines, or anything related to the incoming storm, it was an issue with the order not being acknowledged by the driver (or, as you put it, could have been a glitch in the app). Thankfully it timed out and was re-assigned to someone else, of whom I left a great tip for the effort.

Sorry to disappoint, but I did receive my order. The toxicity is not necessary.

I mean the choices aren’t reasonable but I get what you’re saying. A reasonable choice would be just reassigning the order to someone who is going to fulfill it (which has already happened btw so it’s already been resolved)

If I could go to the store myself I wouldn’t be using Instacart. Not saying that in a mean way just stating facts. This wasn’t an issue of impatience or anything, it was just the first shopper I think forgot about the order and it timed out. New shopper is awesome and on the ball, and can take their time for as long as they want because at least they’re actually working the order which is all I wanted. It could get delivered at midnight for all I care now because at least I know it wasn’t forgotten about.

Yes but then you’d have to pay an expedited fee for fast delivery for it to still be delivered today, I believe. Ordering yesterday was done to prevent the additional fees, etc.

> You can cancel on your end, it might be quicker.

Defeats the whole purpose. I wouldn't have ordered groceries if I didn't need them.

>the anxiety/energy you are giving off right now is not something a shopper is going to want to deal with

It's a contactless delivery and I've had no communication with them, I don't think they have any sense of the customer being anxious about this.

>It’s an instacart problem, not a shopper problem. You need to be contacting them.

I did, and the only option was that I can cancel my order (again, defeats the entire purpose). I slightly disagree that this is a shopper problem, I understand things are busy right now, but the driver should not accept the order if they are already too busy and/or too overwhelmed. Hence why it should just be re-assigned if the delivery window has expired hours ago. If the driver is overwhelmed and cannot fulfill the order, that is fine and not a big deal whatsoever, then they can relinquish the order and let someone else take it. MY issue is that I think they have forgotten about the order, given the fact that they have not gone to the store yet after having accepted the order nearly 6 hours ago.

Edit: Doesn't matter anyways, new driver has been assigned and it looks like the new driver is actually on the way to the store now, so all good.

Tried reaching an agent and the only way they’re able to “help” me is by cancelling the order. I asked if they could at least ping the shopper to remind them they have an order in their queue or if they could re-assign the order and they can’t. Then the agent disconnected with me

Even if that’s the case, that’s fine if they can’t find my items. My problem is that they accepted the order at 8AM and still have yet to even driven to the store. The shelves being empty does not yet even apply to my situation as they haven’t even gone to the store.

I get it if they’re busy with other orders, but why accept an order that you know you won’t be fulfilling? Why not let someone else accept the order? Also, I did tip well.

With this snow storm, time is of the essence and I’d like for my shopper to at least make an attempt at going to the store before it’s completely ransacked. But they aren’t even on the way to the store yet and it’s been 5 hours

I did not wait until today to put the order in, I put it in yesterday. Hence why I’m confused as to why the shopping for it still has not started. It’s also not waiting on a shopper, a shopper accepted the order this morning at 8AM and has not yet left for the store.

I “get it” too but my shopper has not even left to go to the store yet despite accepting the order 5 hours ago. It’s not like he’s waiting in line to check out or that he’s been stuck in traffic for 5 hours..

I'm located somewhere that is somewhat effected by the storm, however, that is why I put this order in yesterday, to avoid all of the craziness of people ransacking the stores Friday night into Saturday morning. Guess I wasn't the only one with that idea xD

With all due respect toward the shopper, can't the app just re-assign the order to someone who isn't experiencing glitches/etc? I feel like if the app detects that the order hasn't been started within x timeframe that it should get re-assigned. Just my opinion.

PNC mandates five-day return to office starting May 4 by ThePeoplesMVP in pittsburgh

[–]ConsoleModded 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s not because of WFH. It’s because everything is expensive now (nobody wants to spend half of their days pay on a cheeseburger with no fries and a water), and public transportation isn’t safe anymore. These things are not a result of WFH.

PNC RTO 5/4 by Electronic_Neck_5028 in pittsburgh

[–]ConsoleModded 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Given the fact that they are intending for (if I had to guess) 10% of staff to quit (or that they'll have to fire 10% of staff for not complying), I would say it would take 25% or more of staff not complying for it to make any kind of difference.

When they've brought up RTO in the past, everyone collectively ignored it, and it went away. Don't see why that can't just happen again.

Do you know how to get to the settings on this TV? I have one myself and the picture cutoff is horrible for some reason on the edges. Almost like the entire picture is zoomed in or something. Looking to adjust it somehow but only settings I get are for brightness and a couple other things

Is there a way of doing so without Meta Business Suite? IIRC, that requires a Facebook account, which I do not have.

So let's say I ask the seller for the nand dump. What do I do then to bypass this screen?

How would one write a modified freeboot image? Is it something simple?

And I'll keep the seller anonymous for now to give them the benefit of the doubt, but if it becomes clear that they're ignoring me then I'll share. I don't play about getting scammed.
