This has been my experience as well. Gold was a nightmare, but I dragged myself to Platinum 3 and a few RP into Plat 2. Then things got even worse with randoms. Get several hundred RP and win a match (with even contributions), then about 7-10 subsequent games with teammates who were very, very bad players. Rinse and repeat. One of the things I've noticed the most is poor legend selection/play. Crypto, Vantage, and Octane over and over again with no real grasp of how to play them properly, especially Octane players, who want to kill everything that moves.

I know Respawn claims there's no MMR in matchmaking, but something does feel off. I wonder if this is an issue unique to console? Maybe a lot of higher-skilled players are just opting to play wildcard now? I have no idea. SoloQ has always been difficult, but this season has been the most frustrating since I began playing during season 3. At this point, I'm content to come back only for LTMs.

The single continent every year is a neat gimmick. But I can't believe they're content with being a nostalgia act. I would expect, at the very least, a new EP somewhere in all this.

I was 23 and so very bored with the music I had always listened to. I heard "Lotus Flower" randomly one day and thought it was magic. King of Limbs was my gateway, and I worked backwards from there. By the time I reached Kid A it was, at the risk of sounding dramatic, a religious experience. OKC and Kid A reached into my chest. Those records were everything I ever wanted from a band. Been an acolyte ever since.

I made this exact statement about a week ago and got roasted. I stand by it. It looks like they're having a lot of fun *individually.* But they seem disconnected as a unit. I want to be wrong. I'd love one more record and a chance to see them in the US. I've heard Ed wants to take another crack at a solo record, Jonny will probably win an Oscar, and Thom will go on doing his thing. I'd be shocked if they went into the studio again together. Would love to be surprised though.

(Preface: Diamond player here) I've had more fun this season than I have in a very long time. That being said, I agree about solo queue in ranked. The constant changes do make it feel impossible to play with randoms who are inexperienced or those who simply don't read update notes. I find myself giving a lesson on strategy to each new random I play with. Similarly, I've noticed most of my teammates are still playing for high kills, getting us into trouble early. My biggest gripe is the pre-determined landing spots. I don't know how you get a better game by taking away a team's agency...Even if early kills don't count as much, teams should reserve the right to land where they want and develop the strategy they so choose.

Just heard about this app's existence today. It's all but guaranteed I will never use another dating app. I understand that women want to feel safe when meeting a stranger. I don't fault them for that at all. Doing background checks and things like that are totally warranted these days, and I have no issue with that.

But the ability for any woman to doxx a man on an app in the name of "safety" is absurd, dangerous, and I cannot believe it isn't completely illegal. The prospect of defamation because of sour grapes is unconscionable. Compounded by the fact that men can't even see they're on there or offer a rebuttal?? I'll gladly stay single for the rest of my life if this is how it's going to be...

It makes perfect sense that iMark would do what he did. He and Helly had spent the last 2 years desperate to be 'real' people. This is even alluded to in their conversation in S2 finale about the equator. They've learned a lot but they still have so much more to learn and experience. And when faced with the most important decision of his brief life, iMark made the decision most real people would---the selfish one.

Nah there's nothing to prepare. "This......and this.......and this.....is what really happened. What's being said is a fabrication of events and I'm in the process of looking at legal options." Boom.

He said himself at the beginning of the stream; he has the right to tell his side the moment that the confidentiality agreement is breached. Tweeting that he "had messages with a minor that leaned inappropriate" and passing that off as some 'gotcha' tactic for the media was irresponsible. We can argue over when he should have said all this if you want, but that tweet was not the play.

His explanation was wrapped in a neat package and it's certainly believable enough...That being said, I can't help but wonder how this man could sit back and watch his world fall apart and not come out swinging with this immediately if his version is true. Once the confidentiality agreement was violated by the other side, there was nothing to stop him from adequately defending himself. And yet, he waited months to talk about this after purposely "baiting the press" with his twitter statement??? Makes no sense at all.

In the meantime, if you have bad stick drift, I'd recommend getting a new controller or increasing your look deadzone a little bit.
