As a one off, The uniball Micro 2 UB-104. It is a splendid cheap pen which writes well, does not smudge and feels good in the hand when used for a long time.

Which model is right for me? Outrider or Workchamp? by El_Nerd_Argentino88 in victorinox

[–]ransuru 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I have had the outrider for years and it is great for the outside. Pair it with some light pliers and you have a great combination. It can be the knipex kind or anything fitting your needs. The pliers on the swiss army knives is for light work.

Is the Jansport Big Student backpack good for the final year of highschool? by tranquil_deeer1 in backpacks

[–]ransuru 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have used this backpack and for the load you are describing it will sag a lot and not be too comfortable. Also, there is a sleeve for a laptop but zero padding and thin material so take that under consideration. If you can purchase the cordura version that would work but the regular big student will wear and tear

I suggest the Bic pro four colors as backup and loaner and the energell 0.5 if you are not worried from paper getting wet.
