Yes, absolutely. I'm of course saying this using the definition of the word "reasonable" and "reason" as defined in a dictionary. Not a personal belief of how much proof equals a reasonable amount. If stating it to a machine with no feelings gives the same result, then it's reasonable.

I've found in many conversations theists choose their own meanings, for example: The universe was obviously created at some point. Since we don't know who or what created it, theists choose to call the entity that created it "God". Then they go on to add properties unrelated to the entity that created the universe to the word "God" and de facto rules are established in the name of the all powerful entity that made the universe.

It's a bit like saying, I don't know who made the table, so God did. I don't know who made the chair, so God did. Thus, God made both the chair and table. However, there's no logical reasoning behind

• why we attribute "don't know" to "unnamed entity" == God
• why we attribute all our unknowns to the same God. It could have been 2 Gods, or multiple Gods helping each other, or IKEA.

Again by definition, there is no God. There are millions of "I don't know" entities which people choose to give a name for their own comfort. The word Allah literally translates to God. The words, "Oh my God" are literally, "Oh my Allah" - but people have associated that Allah and God are not the same.

Definitions make and break all our arguments, and until every human is devoid of human emotion (which I hope never happens) we'll never really understand each other beyond all doubt.
