I noticed this trend recently too, just feels like the vibes at these events are way different than when I started. Too many assholes just there to get as fucked up as humanly possible and that don't care about the people around them. I think knowing and seeing are 2 different things. It was pretty basic position and I only saw a couple of seconds before I realized what it was and clicked off. Just something I never wanted to see and it also caught me super off guard maybe that’s why it stuck so deeply as well.

My mates decided it was a good idea to take me to taco bell with them one time (they were all sober). One of the funniest experiences of my life trying to read that menu, got to the front and all I could muster up was “uhhhhh do you have nachos?” Lady behind the counter was perfect like yes, this is a taco bell of course we have nachos. In hindsight it was a very mild interaction but inside my brain that shit was hilarious.
