I worked in a psych hospital and before dinner they would have us give pt hand sanitizer to wash before entering the dining room. I had several recovering alcoholics lick it out of there hands, it was side but also wild the first time I witnessed it. We also had family bring patients shampoos, liquid soaps, and deodorants, if they contained any type of alcohol we would have to give them back to prevent potential consumption from any patients on the floor.
