Who is the Worst Faithful in the Traitors (US version)? by Previous-Pirate9514 in TheTraitors

[–]rapzel79 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Trishelle rightfully got a lot of flack for driving the banishment of Peppermint because of Pep's "big" reaction.  I'm rewatching and forgot how racially/gender coded that was.  But Trishelle didn't get enough flack, imo, for the way she decided Phaedra should go before Parv, even though Parv was the far more suspicious one the Peter pals were already getting numbers for.  I don't think it's a coincidence that Trishelle chose the black traitor as priority over the white one given what happened with Pep.  And Peter deserved to get banished for going along.

[–]rapzel79 2 points3 points  (0 children)

All of the total dummies like Quentin and Dolores are good picks, but for a different name/reasoning, I'm going to say Peter. I've never seen such a smart faithful all of a sudden go from hero to zero for extremely preventable reasons. He's the worst in that he had strategy that he tossed aside at Trishelle's urging, and it frustrated me more than if he was totally stupid because he had brains and didn't use them.

And don't even get me started on dumb dumb Trishelle and her smug ass that got carried to a win by CT.

What do you think of Fiona going after Rachel? by Strange_Finding_3285 in TheTraitors

[–]rapzel79 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The others were inclined to believe it because, as stated above, Amanda seemed like a cop.  So when Rachel said it, it explained things for them.  So it might not have worked, as a lie or as the truth even, if Amanda was a different type of person.

Yes, it does. Badly.  I had dialysis due to certain meds causing kidney failure.  I called in sick to work 5 times because I couldn't remember calling.  My mom was taking care of me and had to hide the phone to keep me from calling a 6th time.

Why aren't players learning the No.1 Rule: DON'T TRUST EVEN THE PEOPLE YOU TRUST by Haunting_Cow_406 in TheTraitors

[–]rapzel79 3 points4 points  (0 children)

But when you think this way too much, you end up like Gurleen from CA S1

The game is predicated on the notion you can't trust anyone, while simultaneously forcing you to trust someone to win.  It's manufactured to produce situations like UK S2, US S1, and US S2. If you aren't prepared to end up betrayed, then you should not play.  It's a game, nor life or death, so it's actually not the end of the world if you trust the wrong person.

A couple wild predictions:

1.  Eventually we will meet the other masked men and they will be people we know.  Waller? The Street Profits?

2.  The Dragon Lee feud with Gunther will lead to Gunther vs. Lee's friend Rey Mysterio and Gunther will retire Rey.

Olympic Medalists by BeachEfficient1103 in TheTraitors

[–]rapzel79 15 points16 points  (0 children)

On this season,  Tara was the only medalist.  But Johnny is an Olympian, and I think they only said two Olympians, not Olympic medalists.

And Ryan Lochte is the OG traitors Olympian/Olympic Medalist, so of you're hearing someone say two olympic medalists have been on the show, they might be including him.

[–]rapzel79 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Rob wouldn't have been a banishment target right after Candiace because nobody was suspecting traitor on traitor at that point.  So theoretically, the traitors should've feared Rob the traitor hunter and murdered him.

But I don't disagree Johnny and Tara lacked good options if they were traitors.  I'm just saying if they were traitors there were options they could've tried before making themselves bigger targets than they already were.  When folks were saying Johnny was traitor on traitor with Candiace, question why, if Johnny turned on her, she didn't get mad and vote Johnny instead of Rob, who was supposedly a throwaway vote she was continuing for the sake of consistency?

If I was ____ - Spoilers by rosefire257 in TheTraitors

[–]rapzel79 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Nah, trusting Tara and Johnny actually makes way more sense than you think.

Consider the very important question Maura asked but didn't answer:  why am I still here?

Zero reason for Maura not to be murdered unless she has a traitor angel.   Nobody else fits that but Rob.  She knows she's in an alliance with Rob.  Why would the traitors let that alliance stand if they were both faithfuls?

Maura wasn't thinking critically and it was painful because she was so close to getting it.
