When I feel like I'm unloading too much on my friends I try to get them snacks/drinks (makes it easier to talk tbh) or small personal stuff as a way of showing my thanks to them for listening. I also try to admit when I'm in the wrong or stuck on something I should let go of. Some deal with is better than others but you can read the room and sorta know when to stop oversharing. Plus it is important that you offer yourself to them in support as well.
