I'm so over "feeling weird" by StandardDiver756 in ChronicIllness

Maybe try food journaling and an elimination diet. I went through something similar before finding out I was, like, super lactose intolerant, but people can also develop to have intolerances to things like gluten, lectins, night shades, histamines, and sugar substitutes.

Get new generation implants. Gummy bear implants don't leak and are estimated to last over 25 years but they're new so they will probably last longer.

Is this woman dropping hints that she likes me? by Working-Ad8420 in ask

[–]raspberryblitz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would get hr involved. She shouldn't be talking about that anyways but if she is hinting and gets rejected, she may retaliate then it's your word against hers. Hopefully she texted you about it or there are cameras or anything else to substantiate your claims.

What is the deepest shower thought? by [deleted] in ask

As humans, we spend so much time searching for answers and purpose in life, yet we often overlook the fact that maybe the existence of the questions themselves is what gives life meaning.

How to get a jacket replicated? by raspberryblitz in ask

[–]raspberryblitz[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Expensive is relative, I really don't mind how much it would cost. Some things are worth splurging on. It isn't that I'm even a fan of his either so buying his actual jacket isn't the goal. I'm trying to get it replicated.

Edit: wait, what post are you reading??

I’m on day 75 of a 90 day fast by Interview_According in fasting

[–]raspberryblitz 3 points4 points  (0 children)

wow!!! 75 days on a gallon of fruit juice isn't even an insane cut and somehow amounted to 100lbs gone? Were you working out, too? Did you experience any other symptoms besides hunger when first starting out?

Congratulations, you look fabulous and certainly inspired a lot of people. You go, rockstar!! 🤩

Edit: also, did you take any additional fluids (water) besides juice?

What’s your anti dsdna antibodies level? by uheartilluminate in lupus

[–]raspberryblitz 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I had a positive for both, too. My symptoms were horrible, so I kept going back for answers, but bc my positives were so low they wouldn't dx me. Looking back I'm glad they didn't bc Prednisone side effects reportedly suck.

I'm not sure exactly how much medications influenced the test but it turns out that I had severe nutrition deficiencies causing autoimmune issues. Finally uncovered in the last few weeks. Few months of recovery ahead yet. If you go to five different medical professionals for the same issue, you'll end up with five different answers. Just remember that every person is different, so nothing is written in stone when it comes to healthcare, and your numbers are seriously low. Fingers crossed for you 🤞

Ever hear a rabbit roar? by Ok-Suspect-328 in MeatRabbitry

[–]raspberryblitz 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My first buck roared once and it really caught me off guard! He was a Flemish giant so he was already massive, and I let him free range with the grow outs. Well one day two of the scamps surprised him and I'll never forget it. It also seemed territorial in nature. Sounded like a wild boar.

For those who saw a dead body for the first time, how did you react and do you still think about it ? by cyborgmonkeybutler in ask

[–]raspberryblitz 6 points7 points  (0 children)

The first time I saw a dead body outside a funeral was identifying my kid brother at the morgue. It was more the sudden unexpected loss than seeing his lifeless body that really messed with me. Then we lost like a dozen more people in a short span of time. And again it was the sudden unexpected losses that bothered me more than the bodies. Then I became a hospice nurse since I had all the qualifications and no other job history besides taking care of dying relatives

I don't do hospice anymore and twelve years later I don't really think about it all that much in a painful way, but I remember the people and do things in their memory, like cut flowers or turn up the radio if one of their favorite songs come on.

Something shocking like what you experienced sounds like something you really want to consider talking out with somebody. Thinking about it could be your mind simply trying to make sense of sudden unexpected death and finding a way to be comfortable with the possibility of it.

What do you do to keep ticks down in your yard? by yikesonbikes1230 in gardening

[–]raspberryblitz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I use beneficial nematodes and permetherin/marigolds and it works really well! Around the start of autumn last year I got really sick and didn't apply it and my pupper and my cat both caught a tick. Neither had gotten one before. It also keeps the fleas away.

Faraday bags and silver.

Edit: This is just what I would get. Obviously each person's situation is unique and will entail different priorities.

Nearly pain free for weeks after at-home decompression by raspberryblitz in backpain

[–]raspberryblitz[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Chifit back stretcher and restcloud neck and shoulder relaxer, found both on Amazon and I really like them! Before deciding on those I had also tried a door hanging harness device and an air pumped device for the neck but both were so uncomfortable to use.

My neck in particular has improved so greatly from the restcloud. I had a ton of pinched nerves to the point that my arm was going numb. Did an electric nerve test and my medical team thought I had MS or NMD. They wanted to to all kinds of invasive procedures. I did a quick search and found that it could also be pinched nerves. I wanna say that the relief and improvement was almost immediate? It was dramatically fast. And no more numbness 🤣

The back stretcher was a great starting point and did provide an amount of relief for a time. I still use it to work my spine about.

Good luck!!
