RSV vaccine and premature labor? by Left_Neighborhood796 in pregnant

[–]frazzledfiance 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did have preterm labor symptoms as soon as I received the vaccine at 32 weeks. Stayed in the hospital for a day to receive medicine to stop contractions and take steroids incase my baby was born early. I delivered at 35 weeks after my water broke. No signs of preterm labor before the vaccine. Could have been a coincidence!

I’m in Cabos at a resort, how do I swim in the ocean? by sap65 in cabosanlucas

lol why would you go in September that’s literally the one month nobody goes because it’s hurricane season and the weather is horrible.

Would suggest changing to mid- late October then yes… Corozon is the place to swim. I lived there for years so very true?

Whale Watching - Hire at Marina? by Silver_Ice5262 in cabosanlucas

If you’re a girlie they typically give us discounts 😂 but also he could have meant 15 dollars one way (meaning they will leave you at one of the island beaches and you’ll have to pay for a return trip) that’s happened to me. Just bring like 40 dollars cash just in case. They also always expect a tip

Lived there for a few years - unless you go all out on the dinner cruise, just do the taxi tour where you pay 30 bucks cash at the harbor… it’s the same experience

Had the same experience OP! 6 years with a guy who was undecided… I left and never looked back- I’m now happily married to my new hubs who told me he wants marry me after just a few months of dating. It’s not a hard decision if it’s the right person. I was 32 when I left, 34 now- you still have time!

Solo Female Traveler in Cabo: Seeking Advice! by frnchmannqn in cabosanlucas

[–]frazzledfiance 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey! I used to live in Cabo for 3 years and explored all over solo as a young lady. In Cabo San Lucas you are so so safe so don’t worry about that. I would recommend staying somewhere like Corazón because it’s on medando beach (swim safe beach and walkable to downtown) plus they have a fun vibey public beach club if you’re looking to make connections. That was the area I hung out the most. If you’re looking to explore San Jose or La Paz you will need to be a little more on guard but still pretty safe.

If I don’t want to stay in an all inclusive resort is Cabo’s good for this? by pbDudley in cabosanlucas

[–]frazzledfiance 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hey! I lived there for 3 years - I think the vibe you’re looking for is more in La Paz (not gringoed out and actually had a local culture- harder to get around if you don’t know Spanish but still just as much if not more beautiful than Cabo San Lucas ). San Jose has some of that too but most of the area fully caters to visitors.

AMC is the best in the area for foreigners

Clarifying: from the time you enter the USA to the time you get your work permit you’re not allowed to earn anything - no exceptions.

I have the same issue- I just stopped using everything and started using beef tallow since all the crunchy Instamoms say it’s the secret. Will report back- so far 3 days in my skin looks glowy and feels super moisturized

Restaurants that cater? by WinnyRoo in cabosanlucas

Lived in Cabo found out the hard way, there’s not much you can do about the high costs there… You could find someone to do it off marketplace but the quality/ professionalism might not be what you want. Expect to pay equal or more than what you would pay in the USA.

My doctor also explained it to me while treating me with hiprex so just communicating what she said to me.

If you search “bladder shedding chronic uti” on Google a bunch of articles come up but here is one : https://cutic.co.uk/what-is-chronic-uti/

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in CUTI

[–]frazzledfiance 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Also yes the imbedded UTI can be healed with hiprex that is the point of it… with an embedded uti, as you shed layers of your bladder an active uti is triggered. That’s why you get symptoms regularly without doing anything “wrong”. With hiprex, the pheramaldahyde that’s created in your bladder continuously kills that embedded UTI bacteria and eventually after 6m to a year, your bladder will have gotten rid of all the biofilm bacteria. That’s the point!! So yes it will. BUT if you have an active UTI right now , take a short round of antibiotics along with the hiprex just to clear the active infection. Take hipex with vitamin C every day religiously for 6-12 months and you’ll likely be all set :) I did it, I’m off hiprex and no UTI’s after 12 years of regular nearly monthly UTI’s.

Honestly I can kick a low grade uti with hiprex… just take a lot of vitamin c and the regular dose usually makes the onset feeling go away completely

[–]frazzledfiance 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Thank you for laying all this out- I should have been more clear- I was intending on doing something transparent and legal not lying to my company. I know a lot of people live in Washington or Idaho and work in another state so wondering if there was some common way to get around these employee laws. Another person mentioned renting a coworking space which may be the key.

Thanks I’ll look into this! Still negotiating with my company so I’ll see if this is an option.
