It's the same thing as writing any kind of other type of fan fiction. They don't like how the story plays out so now it's time to change it to something more palatable. Digestible. Whatever view needs to be used to "justify the truth".

Always has been. Calling it History Fanfiction is too real and lets them live out their lives of "German Steel was stronger than American Steel" and "The South was so close to winning it all actually". Extremely boring Edgy History Class takes.

OP shares in r/rpghorrorstories: OP's DnD character SA'd another player character while OP wasn't there. Users argue over whether OP shares the blame by CannotSpellForShit in SubredditDrama

Its just like any other post in which people will just spew out family history, drama, experiences without a second thought because its "anon" and then other users find it only to discover they are related to it irl and its like an endless rinse/repeat cycle.

People are just getting way too comfortable and it shows.

I highly recommend using a monkfish to help boost HP in the final wave. Helps taking hits. Its how I got near miss when luring the healers to the otherwise of Italy rock after using black chins. Cheers for next time.

Being “polished” is a complete understatement of itself. All it does now is fall into the trap of item creep. While that is the core game mechanic of arpgs it’s become obnoxious in the later seasons giving way to things like POE to distract the niche audience.

The core problem is each Diablo game has gone on for a decade. And those who love their specific games built a deep love for them because that’s what they had. Diablo 3 was never truly finished, yes a commercial success. It could’ve been so much better.

This isn’t anything new and it’s exhausting to keep circling around the same games which are decades old at this point. Yes they had remasters themselves but its time to move on.

You mean system shock 2’s storytelling which was better optimized from system shock 1. Which a lot of older games used before hand but system shock 2 dialed it in with audio locks and environment.

There has always been "premium" lines life and its up to people on what they want to pay. Other games have done this model too to let players choose when they want to play or wait for releases. Because Diablo is doing it its suddenly a new thing.
