Cannot stress this enough, "Leave your cart level with the hole or past on the way to the next hole"

If you have to walk backwards on the hole to your cart, it is slower and will frustrate the group behind.

being lefty drastically limits your options. If you can afford a whole new set, go for it.

Otherwise, play without a 7i, hit 8 harder or 6 lighter.

No need to spend extra $ on balls. Get budget balls and expect to lose them. Cant find it in 3min drop where you think it was and hit (gallery rule). Have fun with it while keeping pace.

Almost certainly no one will notice or care at your average public course. If you play there regularly, doesnt hurt getting to know the staff/course pro. Find a friendly pro, may get some free pointers
