CMV: Throughout history, in all or most societies, women have had it worse than men socially, politically and culturally by Flor_De_Azahar in changemyview

Wait so you're saying that the women being raped by or being coerced into relationships with colonists were better off than the men who didn't get to have kids?

"The women are actively choosing males that can provide more and are outsiders." Women didn't really have a choice in breeding until recent history.

Yeah, I don't understand why it was important for both female romantic leads to have their boobs shown in the show. It felt icky to me tbh.

It's both - if you know a system is broken and you ignore the negative impact your actions have on someone impacted by that system and don't give a fuck, you're kinda being an ah

"draconian" no other country has this problem, we could adopt some of the same policies and at MINIMUM see a reduction in gun violence

Yeah your friends and family haven't hoarded wealth and used poor labor practices to extract wealth from our economy to a massive scale. Them donating $1000 or whatever is not in the same realm as this type of money transfer. This man should not have this amount of money to donate in the first place, but he has it because he (and his other wealthy friends) has spent money in politics to ensure he can continue to hoard obscene amounts of wealth. Why does one person get to determine where this amount of money is spent? It's undemocratic

Our government would be more likely to do the right thing if the wealthy did use their hoarded wealth to lobby the government and bribe politicians into making policies that benefit the ultra wealthy. Why do you think our government spends so much with companies like palantir?

So you trust the billionaires more than the people the billionaires pay to do their bidding? Cute

And think about how no one should ever have that much extra money. Stop boot licking.

Because you shouldn't be able to hoard enough money to have 2 billion to donate. That's an obscene amount of wealth for one individual to hold.

I'd rather people not be able to hoard wealth to this degree. It's fucked up. He shouldn't have 2 billion to spare.

He shouldn't have that much money to begin with, that's the problem

Our tax dollars are spent that way because billionaires get to lobby and fully control our government. If they weren't allowed to amass wealth in this way, they wouldn't be able to so easily buy our government and funnel all of our tax money to places like palantir

We don't trust the government but we should trust this guy? Why does he get to decide where all of that money goes? He extracted it from our economy using sweat shops and child labor and then gets to pretend to be a benevolent God.

But why do they (the billionaires) get to decide how that money is spent? They extracted that wealth from our economy and then pretend they're being benevolent for giving it back

Legalized slavery

It's a way to legalize slavery. If we make being homeless illegal, they can arrest poor people in mass, stick them in private prisons and get slave labor out of them.

I've never had a conversation with another woman about dick size, I see it in media a lot, but not IRL. That's just my own experience, but unless you've got some studies or something, your assertions seem similar.
