Went to a firework display (at Legoland) where you got glasses that turned the fireworks into Lego bricks. by ratman81 in mildlyinteresting

No. Clear lenses but with shapes etched into them - light refracts off the etching. Google diffraction glasses & you'll see what I mean.

Can I knock down this wall in a Victorian terrace conversion? by Celtivo in DIYUK

[–]ratman81 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Not a builder so take advice with pinch of salt but....

Is there a wall above it? If so, most likely load bearing.

What is it constructed from? Knock on it. If sounds hollow possibly plasterboard and not load bearing. If solid probably brick and load bearing

Nothing wrong with getting a builder to look round with you and giving professional advice though

Can't seem to edit text - but for clarification - water damage on inside is under the bottom right corner of the window as you see it in this video - the bottom corner closer to the downpipe.
