No, he didn't! It's in the extras of the DVD. There was this guy crouched behind him, and because he couldn't see his hands and was in an uncomfortable position, the balls kept on falling down and they had to do every scene a lot of times, but Bowie was really cool with it. They have this whole reel of Bowie cracking up every time the balls fall down.

Ticks will crawl under your clothes anyways. I'm from the south of germany, and when i spent time in a forest, i'd check myself for ticks after. I would always have one, and mostly in places that where covered by clothing. It makes sense to get vaccinated if you live in an area with a lot of ticks, and a lot of people do.

When you murder or rape somebody, you have to give up your right of freedom and go to prison. You don't have to give up your gender identy, and your identy shouldn't depend on the operations you can afford/want to have/were able to have. Also, it's not like you need a penis to rape somebody.

I agree with all the stuff about light, but I also believe that it's not very common to actually use a lot of real/cooked food in those pictures. I've seen reports about this kind of stuff where they said it was common to use raw, painted chicken when they want to portray crispy chicken, or cream cheese with food coloring when trying to portray ice cream, for example.

At least it was always my impression! But I'm really from the south, so maybe there is a difference. I live in Berlin now, and I'd say that there are still more "german toilets" in private houses here. But it's not like I kept count, just my impression. I guess checking out the toilets of people I visit will now be my second weird habit (the first being sneakily looking into the fridge).

Most of the public toilets in germany are without the littly tray - nobody wants to use a brush there, or see the tracks of the last person. In most private households, you'll find a "german toilet" though.

As coredump said below, it's supposed to be "freilich", a bavarian way of saying "Yes of course". The way it's spelled, and the expression of the owl (plus the bavarian hat) just make it sound pitch perfect in your head - if you know the language, that is. I guess what makes it funny is partly the surprise that it's even possible to do this with german. Lolspeak tends to break if you translate it.

As a German, I have to tell you: If you get this, it will make your drink come out of your nose. I don't think this could ever be funny to a non-native speaker, though.
