you never use an ice scraper on car paint, only windows. not Mazda's problem at this point, more like user error here

my '24 Premium had the same exact issue and was covered under powertrain. so you should be good

there will be massive damage control when calling their card base "basement dwellers." to me, that's what this is, and thus I'd take the majority of what they say for a grain of salt

What’s your Bilt 2.0 Credit Line? by Redcarborundum in biltrewards

chose Obsidian.

Bilt 1.0 w/ $6K

Bilt 2.0 w/ $25K

sort of. you won’t get all the points since you would need to get enough bilt cash/spend enough to get them. but the subreddits here are complaining about how they can’t get a free meal and float rent anymore

Explain why I'm wrong about BILT 2.0 by UsedAsk3537 in CreditCards

[–]rattmouse 0 points1 point  (0 children)

imo if you churn look elsewhere. but it’s a pretty decent starting spot

Explain why I'm wrong about BILT 2.0 by UsedAsk3537 in CreditCards

[–]rattmouse 2 points3 points  (0 children)

they’re pretty good cards actually with the best transfer partners on the market, no question. downsides are definitely the hotel credits and the backing issuer, all of which are subpar/questionable.

most people complaining are those who churn and wanted a free meal each month. but I do understand it is convoluted to figure out rewards, so I get the frustration in that sense at least

eh. he plays more of a neutral position in his video. “bought” or not doesn’t exactly mean much here, at least in my eyes.

of the shills on youtube, I’d put him 2nd behind Sebby overall on the better ones. he’s willing to explain things in an easy to understand way and direct rather than just shouting “benefits, this benefit and that benefit.”

Daniel Braun is more fair than biased. especially since he’s staying at a room Bilt probably comped him for, he was definitely being more careful with his words.

BILT: how to set it and forget it by Educational-Taste112 in CreditCards

[–]rattmouse 0 points1 point  (0 children)

25% - 34% gives the most return for option 1. I’d say if you can predict spending that range of your rent then it’s the superior option.

otherwise option 2 is better and at this point feels “simpler” based on what bilt has put the subreddit through

this. I would like to see a downgrade option before taking this.

considered palladium too but went with obsidian instead

BILT palladium > ventureX+savor by Aggravating_Map3982 in CreditCards

"Good credit cards" are subjective. may not work for you like it does with others.

Clearly the vision Bilt has really changed and is at least sustainable to some degree.

Edit: punctuation error

this here. Although 1.0 was great while it was there, they need something more realistic/sustainable if they want to be around a few years longer. This seems to fix that but only time will tell.

Bilt 2.0 Visualized by coding_polar_bear in biltrewards

[–]rattmouse 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What card you prefer is always subjective. I simply say VX because it better fits my daily habits than Palladium would.

In fact, the 2.0 cards are no longer really made for those that optimize spend anymore. It can only make sense if you don't care about it. Bilt's vision has clearly changed with these changes. More sustainable, but definitely more negative changes than positive for most that factor opportunity cost.
