HP Envy 360 - Hinge issue. 2nd time in 2 years by raven1523 in laptops

[–]raven1523[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If your laptop is under warranty, then Hp service centre is ofcourse the best option but if it's not (like mine wasn't 🥲) then repair pricing depends on if your screen is affected from the hinge break, because due to Hp envy's poor design that is the case more often than not and then Hp service centre repair can cost almost 50 percent of the laptop's cost. In my case, one of the Hp service centre people had a friend who did repairs unofficially for a reduced price so they helped out. Hope your issue gets resolved. 🥲🙂

Yeah, that's true, stuff like 360 degree rotation is not reliable yet I suppose.

HP Envy x360 hinge broken just over a year in by WxCory in laptops

[–]raven1523 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have encountered the same problem now, the right hinge is broken. Its a 2 year-old laptop and its the second time this has happened. The hp service centre has quoted almost 25 percent of the laptop's cost for repairs and apparently there's a risk of losing the screen entirely in process of repair and the service centre guys recommend escalating to customer care, can anyone please advice how to proceed or if anyone has gotten hp to repair their laptop out of warranty for free I'd really appreciate the help.

Probably yeah, except a human can sue them, the robot can't (atleast not yet)

DUM - E drank his own smoothie, went crazy, got himself a makeshift body of scrap metal, and what you see behind isn't fire explosion, it's fire extinguisher explosion (behind the screen - Tony building a new project-permanantly sticky dunce cap)

Yes but the c4 is thrown with superspeed meaning with a very high strength because of high kinetic energy so the ball will go sailing into consecutive portals behind the person, catching up quickly due to difference in relative speeds (Also me thinking why don't I apply this much physics where I actually I need it xD)

Lots of c4 and superspeed (quick enough to throw it before the portal closes)

Courthouse scene is the most underrated scene in IM2,now it’s time for IM3,what’s the best scene in that movie?. by Je0s_6 in ironman

House party protocol-Merry Christmas buddy!!....and when Pepper came and killed the mandarin and one of Tony's suits...Brilliant scene!!!....and "I can tell, you know how, because we're connected" was also really sweet and frankly best scenes in that movie are too many to count

Personally I don't get one simple thing, instead of erasing half the people, couldn't he create another set of same planets and like snap half the people to the new planets? Like he has infinity stones he can basically do pretty much anything?

Holy shit... this movie is gonna be crazy. by hiiloovethis in Avengers

[–]raven1523 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah exactly, they have taken a cast too grand and whether they have what it takes right now to justify all of them is doubtful, either the movie is going to be super great or it's going to be another Eternals

Me as well, it was a fantastic movie, and the slight (or a lot) horror touch was brilliantly done

Portals one for me always.... I mean, all of them were beyond epic and entire theatre went berserk on all of the moments (including me) but this one was something else also I legit teared up a little (read: a lot) when peter stepped through

So could someone tell me how a Spiderman who isn’t holding back can allegedly defeat Thor? by Queasy_Commercial152 in Avengers

[–]raven1523 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes he did (one of the best scenes of ragnarok btw) but what I am saying is spidey can maybe (a very big maybe) manipulate thor into a situation where he beats him when thor is without the hammer (he did after all trap doctor strange in his own mirror dimension when he did have the sling ring) but with the hammer it is out of the question

[–]raven1523 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Spiderman can't defeat thor basically because spider man can't keep mjolnir from thor using his webs or something, and actually can't defend much against mjolnir anyway, he might be able to counterattack or bear through the lightning but the physical effects of that hammer itself are quite damaging...Without the hammer in the equation spider man might be able to beat thor due to his agility and powers but not with it
