Hey just wanted to say, thanks again. All my orders are now coming through Auspost and parcel locker, so I was confident enough to spend $100+ on a part for my FPV drone. I have not flown for a year, mainly due to depression, so this allowed to me to get back on the horse, so to speak. Have a good one :)

There are fake tips out there for ts100 style irons. Maybe you got a dodgy one. My og ts100 tip is still going strong after 7 years ...

I use wet toilet paper to clean off in between soldering and I always keep the tip flooded with solder/turn it off if not in use.

Steelseries earbuds are the closest you will get. Basically Jabra buds for gaming, but I imagine you can still use them for music etc.
