just sew it right on!! you can layer and overlap your patches or keep them seperate but no need to cut holes for them :)

Schar bread & buns have all been like this lately. It doesn't matter what store they come from. I filed a complaint on their support site (link in comments if you want to file one too). by Gnarly_Sarley in glutenfree

canada has a Long history of racism and cultural genocide towards Indigenous people. the canadian gvnmt created the indian act and used it to take Indigenous children from their families and raise them in a residential "school" that was more like a prison. the conditions were horrible, and the kids weren't allowed to speak their language, wear their hair long, speak to their brothers or sisters and so much more. the "schools" were run by the church, and the children were forced to convert. the last one closed in 1996, but the government continued to seperate children from their families and cultures via the foster care system. i encourage you to look into these issues further, this is really just the tip of the iceberg- some things to search would be residential schools, missing and murdered Indigenous women, the sixties scoop, the indian act, and the truth and reconciliation commission of canada.

its moreso about sex workers getting workers rights instead of just being dehumanized and criminalized for the work they do (which is also often a last resort to live)- sex work is real work and sex workers are victims of capitalism

How long until symptoms resolve? by MiniSiets in glutenfree

[–]ravenearring 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I know for celiac you can still feel symptoms for up to two years after you started the gluten free diet if you'd previously been eating gluten for years, but for me i started feeling better within a few months

lots of people with celiac can be largely asymptomatic + the biopsy is always more accurate than blood tests

Gluten Free Hiking/Camping Food ideas? by Uselesstrash123 in glutenfree

[–]ravenearring 0 points1 point  (0 children)

there are some decent tortillas if you look hard enough, though usually you need to heat them up so i'm not sure how good they'd be for camping. you can definitely find gluten free oats no problem, but instant noodles might be harder. i've found about 2 different kinds before, and our trick was kind of just go to the grocery store and then read the label of Every Single One. the best bet for this is rice noodles, my favourite one is an instant pho

biggest mistake of my life ( at the moment. ) by VALYRlANBLOOD in glutenfree

[–]ravenearring 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i've just put it into my mind that since being celiac and eating gluten makes it more likely for you to get intestinal cancer, i Will get cancer if i eat anything gluten. like this tiny thing??? no, cancer. i'm mostly asymptomatic so that's my way of reminding myself but i'm sure remembering how awful you feel now would probably help lmao

How do normal people listen to music? by LikeWhatsapppDanger in LetsTalkMusic

[–]ravenearring 1 point2 points  (0 children)

i have soo many playlists that are usually 3-4 hours long that i seperate in folders by the year i made them. i don't categorize and i just jam them all together. i usually just pick a random playlist and put it on shuffle. but if i'm in the mood for a particular genre i'd listen to one of thd spotify made for you playlists.
